The following are statistics accumulated for the month of October 2017 by members of the DEA Task Force. DRUGS PURCHASED/SEIZED Methamphetamine 218.5 Grams Marijuana 49.89 Kilograms Cocaine 180.2 Grams Crack Cocaine 5 Grams Heroin 212 Grams ARRESTS There were four (4) arrests in the month of October 2017 by members of the DEA Task Force. CASES INITIATED There were three (3) cases initiated (opened) during the month of October 2017. MONIES/PROPERTY SEIZED There was $3,655 in U.S. currency seized during the month of October 2017. During the month of October 2017, the DEA Toledo Resident Office participated in the national drug take back program and collected 2,175.5 lbs. of prescription pills from various jurisdictions in Northwest Ohio. This detective also assisted OSP troopers with an investigation into a traffic stop involving two individuals from California where approximately 110 lbs. of marijuana was discovered. This detective also assisted with the surveillance and arrest of a drug trafficker from the Findlay area who was travelling back from North Carolina with approximately ¼ kilogram of methamphetamine and approximately 135 grams of heroin. Additionally, this detective interviewed an individual during a proffer who has contacts and connections into the drug trafficking organization responsible for a multi-kilogram seizure of cocaine in the Toledo area earlier this year. Lastly, this detective assisted other investigators with surveillance and information gathering involving investigations in Sandusky and East Toledo. *end* Page 7

Continue DARE classes at Hillview, Whiteford, and Central Trail Elementary. Assisted with Fire Drills at Stranahan, Whiteford, and Arbor Hills school. Observe school zone at Hillview. Assist with evacuation drills at Whiteford and Arbor Hills. Assisted in Timberstone Bus Safety drill. Investigate an assault at Timberstone involving two females. Participated in Halloween Assembly for safety at Stranahan. Patrol neighborhoods on Halloween for Trick or Treat. Stranahan Cub Scout Den talk at Wildwood Metropark. Assisted Stranahan Elementary in pumpkin toss event. Attended Walk of Light. Speed Trailer Speed trailer placed on Sunset Trail in response to citizen complaints. K-9 Officer Charest with Speedy October 2017 K-9 Speedy and I responded into Toledo twice to track. The first was for a home invasion near Reynolds and Dorr, and the second was a traffic pursuit near Westland Gardens. Both times Speedy tracked well but the suspect got into another vehicle and fled.
