About EHEDG and its flagship event In its 6 th edition, the EHEDG World Congress on Hygienic Engineering and Design 2018 is co-organised by EHEDG (the European Hygienic Engineering & Design Group) and FM Global. The Congress will take place at ExCeL, London from 21 to 22 November 2018 in conjunction with Food Matters Live (20-22 November 2018), the UK s largest annual business to business event for the food and drink industry. EHEDG is a consortium of equipment manufacturers, food industries, research institutes as well as public health authorities and was founded in 1989 with the aim of promoting hygiene during the processing and packaging of food products. Today, with more than 430 participating companies and 60 member institutes in 55 countries worldwide, EHEDG is able to leverage the know-how of nearly 1,400 experts from food and food equipment industries with many thousand resources behind, as well as scientists, thought leaders and innovators in hygienic design and engineering.
