Position: Location: Baton Rouge, Louisiana CORPORATE BACKGROUND is a non-profit, academic, multi-specialty, healthcare delivery system dedicated to patient care, research and education. This award-winning system includes eight hospital campuses totaling 1,150 beds and over 35 physician clinics located throughout Southeast Louisiana. Its flagship hospital and clinic, Ochsner Medical Center, is located in New Orleans, Louisiana. Ochsner employs more than 770 physicians in 90 medical specialties and subspecialties, and performs more than 300 clinical research trials annually. Ochsner continuously meets the ever-changing patients and community needs through electronically-linked hospitals and health centers. BATON ROUGE REGION Ochsner Medical Center in Baton Rouge is a 100-acre campus conveniently located at Interstate 12 and O'Neal Lane. It is comprised of a 140 bed fully- accredited acute care hospital and a 100 physician multispecialty group with 6 satellite clinics. Patients have access to an outstanding staff including more than 300 physicians and the area's most dedicated nurses. Ochsner Medical Center in Baton Rouge: Was the first to offer robotic surgery. Ochsner's Baton Rouge physicians offer minimally-invasive robotic gynecological surgeries to women in the area. Provides leadership and direction in the planning, implementation, and evaluation activities of all areas of responsibility. Ensures the fiscal integrity and operational excellence of -Baton Rouge Region. Develop division operating and capital budgets and ensure financial objectives are achieved. Participate in the annual Ochsner budgeting process and recommend cost projections. Guide Division capital purchase decision making consistent with strategic goals and ensure compliance with capital policies. Ensure that the Governing Board is aware and approves of planning in any major program requiring significant capital expenditure. Growth Develop business relationships which enhance program growth. Energize the people and community to seek innovation, expansion of services, and program enhancement of community benefit and financial health. Solicit from the OCF CEO mission philosophy and ongoing strategic direction. Provide information to the Board and CEO on Division status and issues relative to mission and objective. Establish ongoing communication with executive management and employees that set philosophy and direction in a manner which can be operationalized. Evaluate changing demographic, legal and technical developments in the field and initiate new programs responsive to such needs. Participate in Ochsner planning activities as the key Division administrative representative. Establish policy position for OCF for a variety of forums related to health care and community activities. Support Ochsner fund raising efforts for all mission activities; develop and participate in fund raising activities for OCF programs. Physical & Technology Infrastructure Develop and revise organizational structures to meet functional needs; ensure communication, reporting, and incentives align people and processes. Attend Governing Board meetings and prepare presentations as appropriate or upon request. Ensure consultation and collaboration before establishing or changing policy; implement difficult decisions as appropriate. Ensure compliance with applicable accreditation and regulatory requirements. Support OCF Executive and Senior Management in completing related duties as directed. Page 7 of 8

Actively develop programs and processes to connect and integrate OCF with health care industry and community activities. Collaborate with the medical staff in any program development affecting the Division. Ensure that the physical environment and job structures are designed to promote patient and employee safety. Ensure the proper tools are available to accomplish the mission of high quality patient care. Organize administrative systems and structures to support program development. QUALIFICATIONS Education, Experience & Training: Master degree in Healthcare or Business Administration or related field. A minimum of ten years of experience in successfully managing complex hospital and patient care delivery.
