Invitation to Tender for Legal Services Organisational Context Know How is Broadway s new project, part funded by the European Regional Development Fund 2007 to 2013 and supported using public funding by Arts Council England, with additional finance contributed by regional universities. The project will stimulate knowledge transfer between Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) and East Midlands-based Small to Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in the arts, culture and heritage sector through: (i) (ii) (iii) (iv) peer-to-peer forums supported by specialist expertise; collaborative R&D and rapid prototyping events; grants enabling the continued development of prototypes; and paid graduate placements and postgraduate research assignments. The project will also enable Broadway to create dedicated spaces for collaboration, knowledge transfer, innovation, and enterprise activities between artists and technologists and across emerging industry sectors, through the refurbishment of under-utilised floor space into connected multifunctional zones. The Legal Services Broadway is inviting tenders for the provision of legal services to initially prepare an agreement between Broadway and a provider currently being procured to design and deliver the peer-to-peer forums and rapid prototyping events. Broadway requires this initial work to be carried out immediately with a view to an agreement being in place by Tuesday 22 nd April 2014. As Broadway s work progresses, it is anticipated that advice on and preparation of other agreements shall be required; such as those related to graduate placements and postgraduate research assignments and related to partnerships and intellectual property arising from the forums and rapid prototyping. The contract will be awarded on the basis of the most economically advantageous tender in accordance with the following award criteria.
