Maui Preparatory Academy Our Story Maui Preparatory Academy is an independent college preparatory day and boarding school located in Napili, Maui. Founded in 2005, the school educates day school students in grades preschool-12 and offers an international boarding program for students in grades 8-12. With a focus on college readiness, character development, and community service Maui Preparatory Academy prepares students for academic success in the 21st century. 2001 Maui Land and Pineapple Company donates land to Maui Preparatory Academy. 2005/06 Maui Preparatory Academy welcomes first 37 students. 2006/07 Major grade expansion. 2007/08 Accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Hawaii Association of Independent Schools. 2009/10 Recognized as a Leading School of the Future for five straight years by the Hawaii Community Foundation. 2010 First Graduating Senior Class. 2014/15 International Boarding Program established. 2018 Digital Media and Entrepreneurship classroom built and preschool expanded. 2018 Announcement of Give a Little Aloha Capital Campaign. 2019 NOVEMBER scheduled opening of Maui Preparatory Academy s Center for Athletics and Performing Arts.

OUR RESULTS SPORTS TEAM SPORTS: Basketball Girls Volleyball Cross Country Swimming Surfing Track & Field Golf Tennis Outrigger Canoe Paddling Maui Preparatory Academy produces outcomes that matter: PSAT/ACT/SAT results that are above standards set by the Hawaii Department of Education. 100% of our seniors have graduated high school. 100% of our seniors have been accepted to college. College retention is 98%. Graduates have earned over - 6 million dollars in scholarships and merit-based awards in just the last five years. 100% of students participate in community service, extended learning, and college readiness programs. EXTRACURRICULAR: Hiking Mountain Biking Yoga Gymnastics Karate Service Clubs Science Olympiad Robotics Surfing etc. Our students and alumni represent more than 20 different countries providing a global learning experience for our students and the Maui Preparatory Academy Ohana. COLLEGE PLACEMENT SUCCESS The goal of the Maui Prep College Counseling program is that each student gains admission to colleges and universities that represent the best fit for that student. Over the past few years, Maui Prep students have been accepted to over 100 different colleges and universities in the US and around the world, including prestigious state universities, private research universities, liberal arts colleges, and universities within the Ivy League. Give a Little Aloha A Capital Campaign for Maui Preparatory Academy Maui Preparatory Academy s Give a Little Aloha Capital Campaign is a fundraising campaign specifically focused on building the school s new Center for Athletics and Performing Arts. This ambitious campaign is the largest comprehensive fundraising campaign in the school s 14 year history and has a goal of raising $3.5 million dollars in 18 months. To enhance what we offer to our students and better prepare them for future challenges, we need your support to raise $3.5 through our capital campaign. Please Give a Little Aloha. PROJECT TIMELINE August 2018 - March 2019: Achieve Capital Campaign goal. March 2019: Groundbreaking Ceremony Construction Begins. November 2019: Grand Opening of Maui Preparatory Academy s Center for Athletics and Performing Arts.

The Facility Maui Preparatory Academy s Center for Athletics and Performing Arts Approximately 11,900 square feet. Located on the Maui Preparatory Academy campus. Designed with Napili s unique sense of place in mind and complementing the campus. The Center for Athletics and Performing Arts will contain: Two regulation basketball courts Two regulation volleyball courts Performing arts stage Physical Education classroom Dance/Yoga/Music studio Athletic training facility Home and Away Locker Facilities Home and Away bleachers with a capacity of 300 Athletics Director and Coaches office Men s and Women s bathrooms Men s and Women s locker rooms Demonstration Kitchen The Impact Through the establishment of this important school facility and community center, Maui Preparatory Academy will: Foster school pride and competitive spirit and give our athletic teams a home field advantage for the first time. Provide students with a chance to express themselves through theatre, music, and dance. Create a student gathering place for school functions and events including Science Olympiad, Robotics Competitions, Graduations, May Day Celebrations and Pep Rallies. Provide an attractive events space to the West Maui community.
