Pendle Leisure Trust Communit y Arts Project Pop up shop Nelson Town Centre Pendle Pendle Leisure Trust is a registered charity which manages arts and Leisure facilities across Pendle. It also contains the arts development unit which is committed to making life better and runs projects working with different communities across Pendle and East Lancashire. We are looking for someone to work in The Shop. It s a new pop up space opening in Nelson in early December 2014. The Shop will have an artist s studio, space for children to play, workshop space and sell a selection of vintage and upcycled clothes and home ware. We are trying to create a brand new space full of great design ideas and great coffee and a space where people want to spend time. Working in the shop you will be required to undertake a number of duties including, serving beverages, and taking payments for items bought, keeping the shop tidy and displaying items in an appropriate manner. You will also be required to purchase items to be sold in the shop, help with marketing the shop and come up with ideas to increase the number of visitors to the shop. You will need to be familiar with taking money and working on tills, you will need to be able to spell and use social media, you will need to be able to remember customer orders, you will need to be able to drive as you may be asked to collect items for The Shop, you will need to be physically fit to carry items and you will need to carry out some cleaning tasks.
