Atascocita Band Booster Positions 2017-2018 Band Booster Board: President Preside over meetings. Help with communication between TMS, AMS and AHS bands. Manage the Board. Stephanie Colburn Vice President Help the association run concessions, fundraisers and assist the directors with the band program. Head the scholarship committee. Committee the band Boosters membership reward program. Christi Stavinoha 2nd Vice President (AHS Rep.) Help organize band camp, fundraisers, booster meetings and 2 nd fundraiser. Sheila Collier Treasurer File appropriate paperwork concerning the AHS Band Booster program. Cut checks. Pay bills. Provide monthly statement at Booster meetings. Create the Booster budget. Maintain Quicken. Coordinate collection of funds for uniform checkout. Coordinate Sam s membership. Work with chairs of committees that use funds. Organize the audit committee. Carol Beard 1 st Asst. Treasurers Assist the treasurer. Help with football game monies, deposits and fundraisers. Help with banking twice per week. Organize and maintain all receipts, withdrawals, and deposits. Maintain copies of monthly meeting and banking statements. Lori Butler 2 nd Asst. Treasurer Assist the treasurer. Enter monthly bank account information into a spreadsheet for monthly Booster meeting. Assist with money collection and counting concessions money. OPEN Secretary Keep minutes from Band Booster meetings and email parents with important information when necessary. Update HISD Band Booster information and attend HISD meetings. This is a check signing position. Callie Kopecky Parliamentarian Ensure that all rules and by-laws of the association are followed using Roberts rules of order. This position will receive a copy of the Band Boosters bank statement. Lisa Hill Turner Concessions Coordinator Coordinate the opening, running and closing of Turner concessions. OPEN Corporate Sponsorship Coordinator/Chairperson Invite businesses to support the AHS Band program and coordinate incentive program. OPEN Spirit Chairperson(s) Coordinate the sale of spirit items including shirts, yard signs, bumper stickers, etc. to band families. Also coordinate with vendors, organize, and manage t-shirt, shoe, hanging bag and tote bag sales during band camp. Dinora Veliz (Spirit Night)/Monique Viramontes (Spirit Wear) Publicity Promote band activities and accomplishments through local media and school outlets. OPEN Webmaster Keep band web-site updated. Assist in the publishing of all band forms. Lori Maugans (training Chris Brown) Chaperones Coordinator - Coordinate volunteers to ride the buses with the kids to games and contests. Announcer(s) Help directors at football games with announcements and with introductions at concerts. Open (Julie Thompson-Stewart possibility) Uniform Alterations Chairs Organize uniform alterations. Mona Malinowski (Kassandra Smith & Ashley Fort) Banquet Coordinator/Chairperson Chair and coordinate the year end band banquet. (Usually the VPs and a committee of volunteers) Ice Crew - Pack ice chests and igloos the day before Varsity football games. OPEN Meals Coordinator/Chairperson Organize, advise students and organize order forms for the student s meals on Varsity football game days. Mona Forsyth Meals coordinator (assistant) Assist the meals coordinator. Alicia Zepeda Audit Chairperson Coordinate the year end audit committee. Jason Stavinoha Hospitality Chairperson Organize meals for Band Camp master class week, and coordinate food/beverages for other special events through out the year. Sandra De La Garza Data Entry Help maintain the charms website and update information as necessary. Maintain spreadsheets and uniform information. Bea Sabala (maybe) CPA Offer assistance to the treasurer with government taxes and filings. Lori Butler BINGO Chairperson Coordinate BINGO games to help raise funds for the Band programs. Turner Concessions: (Varsity football games) Turner Coordinators Jason Stavinoha/Nathan Kopecky Asst. Turner Concessions Manager Run the visitor side concession stands at Turner and assist the lead manager as needed. Christi Stavinoha/Callie Kopecky Turner Volunteer Coordinator Ensure sufficient volunteers are signed up for concessions at Turner. Carole Curtis Turner Purchaser Pick up needed supplies from Sam s club for Turner stadium games. Stephanie Colburn Coke delivery parent Coordinate with Coke Rep. and negotiate contract. Meet the coke driver and accept the coke order for Turner stadium. (Usually Thursday mornings) Linda Krause (Julie Stewart- Thompson training and possibly Kelley Norris) Turner bread & Ice supplies parent - Order buns and rolls and have it delivered to Turner stadium. Contact and coordinate ice delivery for Varsity games at Turner. Monique Viramontes/ Christi Stavinoha Concessions managers for Turner (There are 4 concession stands at this stadium) Manage one of the four concession stands at Varsity games Stand 1 Jaren Fort, Carole Curtis Stand 2 Tom Williams Stand 3 Monique Viramontes Stand 4 Jenn Starke Laundry Volunteer - Pick up soiled linens after each home football game, launder, and return linens to the pod during set up for the next home game. AHS Concessions Purchaser - Take inventory of items that are needed and purchase these supplies. Supplies are purchased from Sam s club and HEB. Work closely with AHS concessions coordinator. Monday s - 5-9.30pm Amy Miller_ Tuesday s - 5-9.30pm Gabe Sabala Thursday s - 5-9.15pm Jennifer Ellis 3 Atascocita concessions set-up coordinator - Be the primary person in charge of the set-up of concessions at the AHS field concessions. (This shift usually coincides with AHS Band marching practices.)
