This amendment will not change the conformity for both volatile organic compounds and oxides ofnitrogen ofthe amended Regional Transportation Plan. REVISED TPC Agenda Item 6A MaHout 03/18/10 tsnlufinn NO. 2035-27-RTP ADOPTING AMENDMENTS TO THE 2035 REGIONAL TRANSPORTATION PLAN (RTP) AND THE 2008-2011 TRANSPORTATION IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM (TIP) FOR THE HOUSTON-GALVESTON TRANSPORTATION MANAGEMENT AREA: WHEREAS, the 2035 Regional Transportation Plan was adopted by the Transportation Policy Council on August 24, 2007; and WHEREAS, the 2008-2011 Transportation Improvement Program for the Houston-Galveston Transportation Management Area was also approved by the Transportation Policy Council on August 24, 2007 and is consistent with the 2035 Regional Transportation Plan and its air quality conformity fmding; and WHEREAS, the proposed revisions to the 2008-2011 Transportation Improvement Programs are consistent with the 2035 Regional Transportation Plan and its finding of conformance with the State Implementation Plan for air quality; and WHEREAS, the proposed revisions to the 2008-2011 Transportation Improvement Program are consistent with the federal fiscal constraint requirements established for the Transportation Improvement Program and are consistent with the financially constrained 2035 Regional Transportation Plan. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE TRANSPORTATION POLICY COUNCIL FOR THE HOUSTON-GALVESTON TRANSPORTATION MANAGEMENT AREA THAT THE 2035 REGIONAL TRANSPORTATION PLAN AND THE 2008-2011 TRANSPORTATION IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM BE AMENDED TO REFLECT THE REVISIONS IDENTIFIED IN 2008-2011 AMENDMENTS 218,220,222,223,226,227,228 AND 229. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT SUBJECT TO FUNDING AVAILABILITY AND PROJECT READINESS, AFTER CONSULTATION WITH TPC OFFICERS, THE MPO DIRECTOR IS AUTHORIZED TO SUBMIT AMENDMENTS TO THE 2008-2011 TRANSPORTATION IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM CONSISTENT WITH THE SCHEDULE OF CONTINGENCY PROJECTS SHOWN IN ATTACHMENT 1.
