MU 2015 Reporting CLINICAL ALERTS Alert appears for end user review when the below conditions are met: 1. DEMOGRAPHICS Alert presents if age indicates a high risk patient. 2. VITALS Alert presents if the Pulse Rate > 200 bpm (beats per minute) 3. LAB Alert presents if the Glycohemoglobin (HGB A1C) > 6.5 4. MEDICATION LIST Alert presents if the patient is taking warfarin. 5. DRUG ALLERGY Alert presents if the patient has an allergy to egg and flu vaccine is added. 6. PROBLEM LIST Alert presents for BMI > 25. 7. COMBINATION ALERT:PROBLEM LIST AND MEDICATION LIST Alert presents if the patient has BMI > than 30 and is prescribed metformin. 1. There are several options to electronically transmit the summary care record or referral: Send via Secure Email: Add the providers email address and click SEND under Patient Chart Notes. Send via Emdeon Clinical Exchange: If provider is an existing Emdeon Clinical Exchange customer, select Facility and search for provider location under Patient Chart Visit/Summaries

To retrieve the data for Core 7-Measure 2 the practice will run a query from the Custom Queries tab. At the bottom of the page select a Date Range (Caregiver is no longer required). Click Retrieve MU Reports for Patient Messaging. When the report is finished running it will update the value Clinical Summary Viewed by Patient automatically in the above screenshot.

Info Tab for Meaningful Use 2015 Objective 2 is for Clinical Decision support. For Stage 1 the provider only has to demonstrate 1 CDS alert. The BMI alert is autocalculated when a Height and Weight is entered. The Pulse Rate will produce a CDS alert when the rate is greater than 200. Stage 2 requirements require 5CDS rules. Please refer to MU 2015 document.

Highlighted properties are required for 2015 reporting. If multiple properties are highlighted in the same color, they are all part of the same measure.
