The Fairfield University Book Award is presented to a student who ranks in the top 10% of their class and who is active in school and community affairs and possess leadership qualities coupled with a sense of concern and responsibility to others. The Fairfield University Book Award goes to: Isabella Villanueva st Wells College - The 21 Century Leadership Award is valued at $40,000 over 4 years should she decide to study at Wells College. This award goes to an exemplary student who has demonstrated a commitment to academics and student leadership. William Baltus Cameron O Connor The George Eastman Young Leaders Award honors the future leaders of this country. This student will show extensive involvement in extracurricular activities and possess high grades in challenging courses. Marissa Boyles
George Washington Medal for highest average in mathematics and science Emily Ostermann To be honored with the Rensselaer Medal Scholarship, a student must be ranked within the top 10% of the class and excel in advanced math and science courses. In addition, this student must exhibit significant involvement in extracurricular activities. Lawrence Tech University award is presented to: Henry Phan The Saint Michael s Book Award for Academic Achievement with a Social Conscience recognizes outstanding students who demonstrate commitment to volunteerism and leadership in his or her community service endeavors. The College s founders had a special commitment to serving others as an extension of their Catholic Faith. These students have exemplified social conscience and leadership within their community. The Frederick Douglass and Susan B. Anthony Award recognizes a student who excels in the Humanities and Social Sciences. The student must also demonstrate a commitment to understanding and addressing difficult social issues and be a leader in community action. Mackenzie Burns The Georgian Court Academic Achievement Book Award recognizes a member of the junior class who has achieved success in a rigorous course load during his or her junior year, while being a respectful, active member of the school s community. Liza Adinolfi The Georgian Court Service and Leadership Book Award recognizes a junior who has demonstrated exceptional service, leadership ability, and achievement in his or her coursework. Mackenzie Burns was nominated as our lone representative to New Jersey Girls State, a highly reputable program sponsored by the Ladies Auxiliary of the American Legion. Mackenzie was unanimously selected by the Girls State panel based on her high academic achievement, leadership, patriotism, community involvement, and extracurricular activities. She will proudly represent us this Summer in a week-long leadership summit as she participates in government, civil and patriotic ceremonies and training. Dwight D.
