We have Place based partnerships within some of the key cities across the North and can support these places and their economies to become part of the supply chain. When they succeed, we succeed. We will continue to grow, north shore when we can, and align our industries to the skills required by each city, town or region. Your delivery partner in the Northern Powerhouse We use our expertise to transform services in your Place creating sustainable and relevant services that people value. Blackburn & Darwen Our first place-based partnership in local government and has delivered key schemes such as the design and project management for Pennine Reach (a 45m public transport investment scheme connecting Pennine Lancashire), the design and installation of LED street lighting across Blackburn with Darwen and highway design and project management of Blackburn s Freckleton Street link road. The partnership has also created over 1500 jobs. We enable healthy people, to live in a healthy community in your Place. We invest millions in the communities we serve and work with blue chip companies to manage their apprenticeship programmes. North Tyneside Capita s 15 year partnership with North Tyneside Council has pledged 20m of investment into the region, establishing a significant platform for growth, as well as a commitment to double the turnover of the partnership and create 100 new jobs in the first five years. This target has been met. We have supported North Tyneside Council with its Affordable Housing Programme with the provision of strategic advice and identification of potential sites for social housing, which helped secure a 20million plus external funding commitment for major highways improvements. We have also supported the council by successfully securing 13.8m of funding to regenerate the former Swan Hunter shipyard into a new business park. We deliver real estate solutions from property strategy, through the planning, design and construction of innovative workplaces, to the buying, selling and leasing of space, and ongoing maintenance and management. We create physical, social and digital infrastructure, generate growth and commercialise assets in your Place. Salford - Urban Vision We employ 23,000 staff within the North and have created over 1,500 jobs in Blackburn and Darwen. Capita s joint venture partnership with Salford City Council and Galliford Try has delivered on key Salford schemes such as Media City UK, the A580 Bus Priority Scheme, the Higher and Lower Broughton Development Agreement and Chapel Street public realm and highway improvement scheme. Other achievements include securing an additional 22m of funding for highway improvements in Salford, generating 4m of revenue for the Council through advertising on the highway and creating 472 work opportunities for local suppliers. With a supply chain of 1.6billion, we align our spend, support SME s, acquire new businesses and attract funding within Place. Sheffield Our partnership with Sheffield City Council provides a range of revenues, benefits, ICT, HR, Payroll and financial solutions. Together we are investing innovation to improve services for residents, at a lower cost for the Council and resulting in better outcomes for the city. Since the partnership began, we have reduced costs for the Council by 30%, invested in the ICT infrastructure, launched online services for residents and Council employees, created over 40 jobs and supported the conversion of twelve local schools into academy or Trust status. We provide services to 21,000 schools and 220 higher and further education establishments.

Bringing best practice from our partnerships across the country As well as a strong presence in the North, we also have outstanding capability, capacity and experience in other parts of the UK that can be used to support the delivery of the Northern Powerhouse objectives. Service Birmingham Our joint venture company jointly owned with Birmingham City Council, provides all of Birmingham City Council s information technology and believes corporate social responsibility (CSR) to be a cornerstone of the joint venture, which is why they have invested nearly 2.5m into community projects across Birmingham over the past ten years. We also deliver on important nationwide projects such as crossrail HS2, Brent Cross South in the London Borough of Barnet, Strand East in the London Borough of Newham and the new Covent Garden Market. After two and a half years from launching Entrust, school performance in Staffordshire where Entrust works with all schools in the area, across all areas of school improvement has improved. Now, 81% of providers are rated as good or outstanding by Ofsted an increase of 16 percentage points (pp) since 2012. Entrust Capita s Joint Venture with Staffordshire County Council works across the UK in partnership with schools, academy trusts and local authorities to provide specialist expertise around school improvement, learning technologies, and property and support services. The joint venture is now the fastest growing school-to-school support partner in England, working in over 50 local authorities and 600 schools. we re currently assisting with the planning of more than 100,000 homes roughly equivalent to the number of units built in the whole of England last year? Re Capita s joint venture with the London Borough of Barnet is helping to design, create, shape and grow sustainable places we all want to live. It s been set up to improve and deliver a range of property, development and regulatory services to local authorities and commercial organisations. Our innovative commercial model brings together the best of public and private sector delivery against a challenging financial backdrop. To date 31million of savings have been achieved for the Council alongside increased resident satisfaction. Southampton We have undertaken the largest business transformation change programme of any local authority, helping Birmingham City Council to realise savings of approximately 1bn. This has included major initiatives to redesign working practices, implement new systems and improve services for staff and citizens alike. In partnership with Southampton City Council we have used digital technology to transform almost 200 customer end-to-end journeys and introduced new ways of working which has secured significant efficiencies. The programme was awarded the Best Use of Agile in the Public Sector by a Team at the industry Agile Awards. we manage over 20bn of property assets, collecting 1.2bn of rent and service charges, and completing over 650m of investment transactions? Re is working with Barnet Council to facilitate the construction of Brent Cross, a 4billion mixed use regeneration scheme covering 150 acres in North West London. This includes the creation of a new shopping centre with an adjoining new town, including over 7,000 homes, 4m square feet of employment space and a new station.
