Creating Your Account MyRyerson Career Vault
To have any access to the resources and power of the CareerVault, students and alumni must have an active CareerVault account. To create an account: Step 1: go to http://www.ryerson.ca/career Step 2: Click Students Step 3: Fromthe Quick Links ontheright handside, hand Select Login MyRyerson CareerVault
Step 4: One the webpage displayed, navigate to Become a Member and create your account.
Step 5: Complete the Required Fields Personal information Academic information Career centre profile Step 6: Click Submit Application. NOTE: Uploading your resume into the MyRyerson CareerVault makes applying to jobs online easier!
Once you are successful in creating your account, MyRyerson CareerVault will automatically log you out. Click MyRyerson CareerVault on the left navigation bar to log in with your Ryerson username and password You are now ready to begin your job search!
Searching for Jobs MyRyerson Career Vault
There are two methods for conducting your job search through the CareerVault: Simple Search Use relevant keywords to get results
Advanced Search Search for more than one keyword at a time using the and/or feature.
Posted Jobs Posted jobs are visible according to Jobs for my Program or All Posted Jobs. You can use the filter to refine the results.
Tired of searching for the same thing over and over? You can save keywords so you don t have to! Steps: 1. Perform a search. Using the keywords you provide, MyRyerson CareerVault will conduct a search based on that criteria. 2. You will see this screen: 3 Click Save this Keyword and it will be added to your Saved Keyword 3. Click Save this Keyword and it will be added to your Saved Keyword List.
Managing Job Search MyRyerson Career Vault
Jobs Matching Saved Keywords You will find the positions which match your Saved Keywords here.
Bookmarked Jobs Any jobs that you have bookmarked to review at a later date will be stored here. ee You may aso also remove ejobs you have aebookmarked here. ee This helps you to prepare your application before you apply for the position and avoid searching for the job description again.
Jobs I Applied For Forget what you applied for? Got a call from an employer? This section lets you view the job description again. Now, you can review the posting and better prepare yourself for the interview!

Update your account Be sure to keep your information up to date each year to receive relevant news and information from your Career Centre You can choose to be notified about: Career related information Jobs related to your program Job notifications based on your keyword searches

Manage your calendar My Calendar tab showcases a list of the workshops, events and appointments that you have registered for. To un register for a workshop or event: 1. Check off the check box for the workshop/event you want to cancel 2. Click the unregister button
