GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS: a) All the Principals are instructed to submit the duly filled in application along with the internal assessment and eligible examiner list as subject wise to the Chairman, Board of Examination for DGNM, Directorate of Medical Education, Kilpauk, Chennai-10 on or before 27 th July 2018 without fail. (The Communication regarding Ist Year notification will be issued Later) b) Incomplete and Late submission of applications will be summarily rejected without any intimation. 2. EXAMINATION FEE a)examination Application Fee of Rs.100/- Per Candidate should be paid for those who are appearing for Examination. b)examination fee of Rs.100/- for each paper should be paid separately for Theory & Practical. c)the Examination fee & Application fee for all candidate should be sent as single Demand Draft drawn in favour of The Chairman, Board of Examination for DGNM, Chennai. Payable at Chennai. 3. HALL TICKETS a) The Principals are requested to download the examination application form and the blank Hall Tickets form given in the Annexure. b) Only recent colour passport size photo having name of the candidate in the photo to be affixed and it should be attested by the Student. 4. ELIGIBLE CRITERIA FOR EXAMINER ARE AS FOLLOWS. a) Examiners must have minimum of 5 years of teaching experience. b) Examiners should have minimum of one year teaching experience in the present working institution. c) The Faculty who are involved for DGNM programme alone will be considered. d) The Faculty involved in the collegiate programme will not be considered for any of the DGNM programme concerned. e) The list of teaching faculty with the subjects handling presently should be sent as per format already sent by the mail.
NOTE: 1. 75% of attendance is required for a student to appear for the Board Examination. 2. The Hall Ticket will be issued only after receiving the Internal Assessment. 3. No institution shall submit student average internal marks more than 75% i.e., if 40 students are admitted in a course then the average score of all the (total) 40 students shall not exceed 75%. 4. The Student should pass in the internal assessment in each subject and practical(s). 5. The Student who appears for supplementary examination, current internal assessment should be sent for those Subject (s) / Practical (s) to this Board. 6. If students fails in either theory or practical he/she has to re-appear for both the papers (Theory and Practical) for those who are admitted in the DGNM course from the year 2015-2016. Candidates are prohibited from writing anything either on their hall tickets or question papers. 3. Strict silence should be maintained in the examination hall. 4. Candidates should take their places in the examination hall at least 30 minutes before the commencement of Examination. But a candidate report after half an hour the candidate will not be admitted to the examination hall. 5. Candidates are forbidden to ask question of any kind during the examination. They are further forbidden to communicate with examiners. Should they do so their answer will not be valued and their conduct will be reported to the Chairman of the Examination Board for disciplinary action. 6. Candidates are not allowed the use of books of any kind or mobile phones or any other electronic Telecommunication devices. Any candidate detected in the violation of these rules will be sent out of the room forthwith and the matter will be reported to the Examination Board. 7.
