Contact potential hosts, beneficaries, secondments, supervisors (IF) Webinar Involve Grants Offices, Research Services! (NCP) Sources for additional information: other MSCA Fellows, successful proposals, supervisors Get familiar to Participant Portal and start submission process early!

Important to think about Plans based on each individual researcher Supervisor(s): academic/industrial/public Political context Added value (consequence of EU contribution) Logic career development (does the project provide what is needed) Attractive proposal (easy to read and understand) Ethics, gender -

The proposal should provide Understanding the motives for EU funding and goals Understanding for the regulations and conditions Understanding of the texts in WP and Call for Proposals!!! (Read, read again and again and again.) Contributions to the goals stated by EU (and not only for yourself and SE)

Check this to get a good proposal Who is the reader? Specialist? Generalist? Industrial? Public? Academic? Be concrete and avoid generic writing Avoid complicated expressions Write clear concrete goals and expected results Be realistic! What you write in the proposal is what you promise to deliver by a contractual agreement!

Evaluation Guide for Applicants!!!!! Read and follow the instructions: does the proposal answer to the evaluation criteria? SWOT analysis for the project Do not promise too much (Proposal -> GA) Do not be too specific, good to have flexibility for future adjustments Do not have too many WP and Deliverables (reporting is based on this!) Main list, Reserve list, Out of budget, Cut-off, SoE
