How and when do I apply for post-secondary school? Most university and college websites are open for applications at the beginning of October. Pay attention to early application deadlines and entrance scholarship deadlines Make sure you have the pre-requisite courses for your desired program, then apply on line at : https://applybc.ca (Create a profile and complete your application for each institution) Grades are self-reported and admission is tied to this so make sure your child does not report a grade that is not on a report card or transcript Pay attention to self-reporting deadlines which are different from application deadlines
Online PSI Selections Form All students who have intentions of applying to post-secondary for Fall 2015 should complete an Online PSI Selections Form You need to select the institutions you are applying to and then check off that you allow the BC Ministry of Education to submit your final grades to that institution. www.bced.gov.bc.ca/exams/tsw/tsw/student Save money as you will not have to pay the school later and wait for a transcript to be made / mailed etc.
