If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact your child s teacher. KINDRAISER REMINDER - EARN A NO UNIFORM TODAY PASS How can students earn a No Uniform pass for this Friday, May 4th? Ask friends and family to donate. Students who get $100 in donations by Thursday, May 3rd at 12:00 P.M. will receive a No Uniform Today pass to be used on Friday, May 4th! Share your Kindraiser page with as many people as you can! DRAMA CLUB PRESENTS MAYHEM AT THE MUSEUM Everyone is invited to the Drama Club performance of Mayhem at the Museum this Friday, May 4th at 6:30 P.M. in Miller Pavilion. The cost of admission is $5 but OLG students and children 5 and under are FREE! All OLG students are getting their free ticket today in their Teacher Communication envelopes. These blue tickets are for OLG students only. Students must be accompanied by an adult. SHOPPING CERTIFICATE PROGRAM Don t know what to get for the special graduate in your life? Get them a gift card! Included in Mail Day is a Shopping Certificate Special Order form. The next Shopping Certificate Special Order due date is Monday, May 7th. There are many stores that we don t normally carry that you can order through Special Order. Thank you for your support! TEACHER APPRECIATION WEEK ~ MAY 7-11 Next week is National Teacher Appreciation Week. The PTG is planning something special for the teachers everyday next week to let them know how much we appreciate all they do for OLG! MUFFINS WITH MOM ~ THURSDAY, MAY 10TH On Thursday, May 10th we will have Muffins with Mom in the cafeteria. Students can invite their mom, grandma, or other special person to join them for a muffin and a cup of hot cocoa for just $2. Please join us for a muffin and then for Mass afterwards at 9:00 A.M. for Ascension Thursday. The order form is included in Mail Day this week. CAFETERIA NEWS Now available for a LIMITED TIME ONLY - strawberry sorbet cups - $1.50 each! A la carte pretzel sticks are running low. They will be available as supplies last. GENESIS BABY SHOWER - DONATIONS NEEDED BY WEDNESDAY, MAY 9TH Just a reminder that we are collecting baby items for our Genesis Baby Shower. Donations of Similac baby formula (or Walmart brand that is similar to Similac), diapers (sizes 3-6), small containers of baby food, new or gently worn clothing

from infant to size 4T, and infant shoes up to size 8. Or you can send in Walmart gift cards (you can buy them from our Shopping Certificate program). Please send in items by Wednesday, May 9th. SPIRIT SHOW Save the date for our annual Spirit Show on Thursday, May 17th at 7:00 P.M. Students are asked to wear bright spring colors for the performance. All students are expected to participate in the Spirit Show, but if your child cannot attend, you must fill out the form included in Mail Day today, with the student s name and the reason they cannot participate and return it to the school office by Monday, May 14th. Any student who does not participate in the Spirit Show will be given an assignment to complete by Mr. Berkey. OLG PARISH ANNUAL MAY CROWNING - MAY 13TH The annual Parish May Crowning will be held on Sunday, May 13th immediately following the 9:30 A.M. Mass. We extend an invitation to our First Communicants and encourage them to dress up in their First Communion attire for this occasion. There will be reserved pews in the front of church for the First Communicants and their families. All will be invited to process to the Marian Chapel for this May Crowning devotional to honor the Blessed Mother, Our Lady of Grace. PANERA FUNDRAISER - MAY 23RD Save the date for our Panera Fundraiser on Wednesday, May 23rd from 4:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. at the Panera on Washington Pike in Bridgeville. OLG CAR MAGNETS Show your school spirit everywhere you go with an OLG car magnet! Magnets can be purchased at the school for $5. CLOROX WIPES NEEDED We are in need of Clorox wipes at the school. Any donations would be greatly appreciated. Thank you! FIRST COMMUNION MASSES Please pray for our second graders who will be making their First Holy Communion on Saturday, May 5th at the 6:00 P.M. Mass and on Sunday, May 6th at the 11:30 A.M. Mass. SPORTS BANQUET RSVP S DUE MAY 9TH Don t forget to RSVP for the Sports Banquet. Forms and payment are due by next Wednesday, May 9th. The form was sent home in last week s Mail Day. The Athletic Association is also looking for volunteers to help with the Sports Banquet set-up and clean-up. OUR LADY OF THE SACRED HEART HIGH SCHOOL NEWS Class of 2022 Welcome Night - Join the OLSH family on Wednesday, May 9th at 7:00 PM for a night of fun and excitement as they welcome the incoming freshman Class of 2022! Parents and students are invited to attend and learn more about OLSH and what lies ahead for your child. The evening will include a parent social and team competition for the students. Notre Dame Exploring the Chemical World Camp - Presented by the University of Notre Dame s Center for STEM Education, this camp focuses on chemical investigations the first week, highlighted by experiments and computer simulations exploring chemical phenomena and gas behavior, and discusses the engineering design cycle in the second week, with an Engineering is Elementary investigation and water filtration challenge. The two-week camp is for students entering grades 6-8 in the fall, and will take place Tuesday, June 19 through Friday, June 29 from 9:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M.
