Regional Innovation Centers 10 ekasilabs covering the GCR Phase 2 of expansion plan will entail growing the size of each ekasilab into RICs with focus on : 2 Mohlakeng & Carletonville Soweto & Alex 2 2 2 2 Sebokeng & Garankuwa & Mamelodi Tembisa & Kathorus Sharpeville Bigger Infrastructure Rental Space for Startups and SMEs that are generating revenue Host other ED Programme (GEP,SEDA, CIPC, SARS) Incubation Programme Increase the size of ekasilab Core or Post Revenue startups (60%) Ensure sustainability of support for precommercial incubation
