The LISOA will be presenting this award to a deserving senior swimmer or diver who has competed for their high school during the 2018-2019 Winter season and will be attending an accredited University or College in 2019. The high school the individual competes for must be a member of either Section VIII (Nassau) or Section XI (Suffolk). The 2018-19 LISOA Scholar-Athlete Award will once again be $1,000.00. This award has been given for over a quarter of a century and we are proud that the LISOA can be of service to the interscholastic swimming and diving community here on Long Island. Last year s recipient was Dylan Chan of Half Hollow Hills West High School. It would be appreciated if you would be kind enough to publicize this award to the senior members of your team. Please make your eligible candidates aware that the application may be downloaded and printed from the LISOA web page (liswimofficials.com) from the tab located on the left side. Should you have several deserving seniors who should be considered, please encourage each and every one of them to apply.
