Student Leadership: Marching Band success is greatly dependent on the student leadership team chosen by Mr. Rose, coaches and staff. We strongly encourage students to take advantage of these fundraisers as the money earned stays with the student until the student graduates and then can be transferred to a sibling/selected student or camp scholarship fund. Funds can be used to pay most of the music fees, except tuxedo shirts, cummerbunds and ties. The first fundraiser is our most successful and profitable. Students sell Fuji apples and one other type of apple (TBA), beginning in September. Students have earned as much as $1,000 selling apples. While fees are important for making the music program happen, we don t want the fees to be the reason a student does not participate in music. Any family who may struggle with the fees are encouraged to contact Mr. Rose to work out a good solution.
