ED CELL 2012-2013 Ed Cell organized a one day workshop on Entrepreneurship Orientation Programme in collaboration with NSIC.A brief report of the workshop is as follows - The Workshop stated with the introduction of the Resource person Mr.Rohit Kumar (Trainer of EOP). He began the session with giving a brief introduction to NSIC & EOP, The various activities undertaken by NSIC which is a Public concern, under the ministry of MSME., Govt. of India. In the first half of the session, he briefly explained as to how to start an enterprise, right from registration stage to production and marketing of finished goods. He showed few interesting videos on the life of Mr. DirubaiAmbani on how he started his career by taking up a small job to become a big entrepreneur.he also showed an animated video on the qualities of an entrepreneur and the difficulties and challenges faced by him titled as Entrepreneurs Rollercoaster Second half of the session, started with a presentation on Incubator Programme which is introduced by NSIC, under this programme training is given to young people who aspire to become future entrepreneurs. The training is related to various aspects of Business where they are given an opportunity to work on machines of low cost like Candle making machines, Biscuit making machines, Ice cream cone making machines, Embroidery machines,socks knitting machines etc.. At end of the session the students were motivated to dream and become an entrepreneur by featuring a presentation on few famous personalities of the world. The workshop finally ended on a famous quotation. If you do not give up, you will never fail It also Organized a one day workshop on Basis of Stock Marketing & Art of Investing on 15-11-2012.The details of the workshop - The workshop started with the introduction of stock market by the resource person Mr. Santosh Reddy (Stock Market Analyst). The students were further enlightened on various topics like transformation of Indian stock market, factors which influence stock market, mechanism of trading account, stock market Vs other investment avenues and art of investing. The resource person explained these topics by giving practical examples as well as his own experiences while dealing in stock market as broker. He also advised the students to invest in stock market with their own money and not to borrow and invest. The workshop helped the students to gain knowledge about stock market and also learn how to invest profitably by reducing the risk.

2013-2014 The college had facilitated the formation of an ED-Cell in 2004 to ignite the spirit of entrepreneurship in students, by giving them the requisite skills, knowledge and competencies. This centre plans to conduct workshops, training programmes, hands on experience in collaboration with industry and government organizations. To promote entrepreneurship skills among students ED-cell organized a one day Workshop on Development of Entrepreneurship Skills in association with National Small Industries Corporation Ltd. on 12 th & 14 th August 2013 for all final year undergraduate students. To motivate the freshers conducted a Motivation Campaign towards Self Employment Opportunities in association with Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises, Government of India on 23 rd August 2013. As a move towards promoting financial literacy organized an orientation Program on Investors Awareness Financial literacy for all the undergraduate students on 15 th July 2013 by Mr. R. Rama Krishna Gupta (Chairman of ICSI, Hyderabad Chapter) Conducted a Survey on social networking sites in collaboration with Facebook on 16 th July 2013.

2014-2015 Ed-Cell, Department of Commerce, St. Ann s College and Confederation of Women Entrepreneurs of India (COWE) has signed an MOU on 1 st August 2014 to promote seminars, talks on entrepreneurship, workshops, site visits, job fairs and skill enhancement programs. To promote self-employment,ed- cell conducted an Interactive Session with Women Entrepreneur, Mrs. Y.S.R. Rajeshwari, MD of Siddhi Creations, Garments & textiles on 1 st Sept, 2014. The students of B.Com II year and BBA II year attended a one day workshop on Entrepreneurship Orientation program at NSIC campus on 8 th Sept, 2014 to develop entrepreneurship skills among students.

As a move towards promoting creativity among the students a three day work shop on Oil Pastels was conducted for all undergraduate students on 13 th, 17 th & 18 th Nov. 2014, by our alumni Ms. ShwetaAgarwal, MD, Sky Arts. 2015-2016 To promote self employment, ED-Cell conducted an Interactive Session with an Entrepreneur, Mr. VivekRanghabhashyam, Digital Marketing Specialist, Internet Marketing Consultant, 3D Modular and Texturing Artist, Proud BNI Member on 31 st July 2015. Mr. VivekRanghabhashyam sharing his experiences The students of B.Sc III year and B.Com III year attended a one day workshop on Entrepreneurship Orientation program In Association with NSIC on 21 st Nov, 2015 to develop entrepreneurship skills among students. Workshop on EOP ED Cell has conducted One Day Inter-Collegiate competitions on 21 st Dec. 2015 to promote skill development among the students so as to enable them to earn while learning. The Competitions were Nail Art, Face Painting and Hand Tattoo.

One Day Inter-Collegiate Competitions A Student Level 5 day EDP Training was conducted for interested under-graduate students (Under the RGNIYD, ICTACT, Ministry of Youth Affairs, GOI) in collaboration with Department of Business Management, ED-Cell & NSS Unit from 19 th Jan to 23 rd Jan 2016 2016-2017 A One Day Workshop on Entrepreneurship Orientation Program was organized in Association with NSIC for the students of B.Sc and B.Com III year students on 20 th July, 2016 to bring awareness and develop entrepreneurship skills among the students. A Guest Lecture was organized on Role of Small Business in the Modern Indian Economy on 8th August 2016 in association with MSME for B.Com III Year students topics covered included entrepreneurship skills, decision making, preparing good project report, registration process in MSME through UdhyogAadhar. A Field Trip to ALEAP, Kukatpally, Hyd was organized for COC ED Skills Students on 20 th August, 2016 in order to bring awareness among the students about the various opportunities available to start- Up their own business. With an aim to reach out to neighborhood special permission was taken from NSIC and a one day workshop on Entrepreneurship Skills was conducted In Association with NSIC on 25 th Nov 2016 for Degree III yr students of other colleges such as MS Degree college,pulla Reddy college,lalbhahadur Degree college and others participated. To promote the concept of Earn while you Learn a Two Days Workshop on Candle Making was organized on 14 th & 15 th Dec, 2016 for COC ED-Skills and B.Sc students
