Innovative Building Technology will be used in the development and construction of the Smart Green House, inclusive of: Green Brick (Hydrafoam) Energy Efficient Lighting Smart Solar Water Geyser (PV Panels) Water Harvesting Wi-Fi Connectivity Satellite Connection (decoder) Smart Computer (for the usage of students and learners in the household)

The main objective is to target entities owned by previously disadvantaged individuals with specific focus on youth, women and military veterans. The key mandate is to provide cadets with the opportunity to access the construction sector through strategic supplier & enterprise development partnerships with strategic partners. The provision of Smart Green Housing Solutions in South Africa will ensure: The creation of integrated smart green cities by TASOL/YABASHA and partners in catalytic projects for the entire value chain of human settlements; The mainstreaming of youth in the construction of smart greenhouses through the One Youth One Smart Green House Programme The mobilization of Youth Brigades to participate in the One Youth One Smart Green House Programme The modus operandi of the One Youth One Smart Green House Programme seeks to: Promote, enhance entrepreneurial development and increase the number of expertise of Youth Owned SMME s providing services and products to the housing construction sector

The objectives for the Smart Green Housing initiative is to ensure the training development of: and Youth, and military veterans for the construction of Smart Green Houses Through AfriYouth construction the empowerment and development of social entrepreneurs from the Youth Cadet Program to ensure that youth participate and form enterprises to part take in the Human Settlements value chain for construction and development Transforming the property and construction sector through the delivery of smart green houses Establishment of youth brigade, and military veteran companies mentored by Yabasha and Tasol Solar to ensure active participation in supply chain and entire value chain for the construction of Smart Green Houses. OUR DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME ALSO FOCUSES ON THE ENTIRE VALUE CHAIN INCLUDING: Accredited Installations (PV-Therm, SWH, Rooftop, Retrofitting) Accredited Energy Efficiency Training and Green Entrepreneurship Green Building Certification

The Smart, Green Housing Initiative will use the existing human settlements business model of catalytic projects. The following are areas for benchmarking and/or piloting through the Human Settlements Mixed Development Housing Subsidy Programme: 1. Cornobia (Kwa Zulu Natal Province), 2. N2 Gateway (Western Cape Province) 3. Savanna City ( Gauteng) 4. Daggafontein (Gauteng)

The core infrastructure elements in a smart city must include: Adequate water supply Assured electricity supply Sanitation, including solid waste management Efficient urban mobility and public transport Affordable housing, especially for the poor Robust IT connectivity and digitalization Good governance, especially e-governance and citizen participation Sustainable environment Safety and security of citizens, particularly women, children and the elderly Health and education.
