The JGH Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, is committed to serving a wide range of needs in our community through the following activities: Provide 10 scholarships per year for college-bound high school students Provide over 1,000 awards for academic achievement to middle and high school students in partnership with the Chantilly Pyramid Minority Student Achievement Committee and Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Sponsor and chaperone two high school students to attend a 4-day Leadership Conference at Hampton University Partnered with George Mason University to establish the Paul Robeson Saturday Leadership Academy to encourage Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) careers for middle and high school students Sponsor Project Alpha program designed to provide teenage males information about teen pregnancy prevention Support families in Reston, Virginia by providing nutritious meals annually during the Thanksgiving holiday Provided Christmas toys to hundreds of underprivileged children in the Reston, Virginia area through our annual Toys-4-Kids Christmas program The Black and Gold Scholarship Ball enjoys support from approximately 450 guests and numerous corporate sponsors. Your company will be highlighted as a supporter of college-bound students in the Washington DC Metropolitan area who have a record of academic accomplishment, leadership, community service, and perseverance. JGH SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES TOP OF THE PYRAMID SPONSOR One scholarship will be named for the Sponsor who provides the largest sponsorship contribution. This sponsor will be invited to award the scholarship to the recipient. JEWEL SPONSOR - Contribution of $8,000 or more Includes guest seating for 15, one full-page color ad in souvenir journal, photo opportunity with awardees and recognition during the event. Plaques recognizing corporate contribution will be presented. Corporation logo will be displayed on JGH website. PLATINUM SPONSOR - Contribution of $4,000-$7,999 - Includes guest table seating for 10, one full-page color ad in souvenir journal, photo opportunity with awardees and recognition during the event. Corporation logo will be displayed on JGH website. GOLD SPONSOR - Contribution of $2,000-$3,999 - Includes guest table seating for 7, one half-page ad in souvenir journal, photo opportunity with awardees and recognition during the event Corporate logo will be displayed on JGH website. ONYX SPONSOR - Contribution of $1,000-$1,999 - Includes guest table seating for 5, one quarter-page ad in souvenir journal, photo opportunity with awardees and recognition during the event.
