Who is LeadingAge Florida? LeadingAge Florida is the only statewide association that represents the full continuum of care for seniors in the state. We serve approximately 250 of the state s premier elder care organizations and more than 140 business associates. More than 80,000 seniors live in LeadingAge Florida member communities. Thousands more are served through home health services, adult day care centers, and other community outreach programs offered by our members. LeadingAge Florida members are economic engines, providing an estimated 25,000 jobs statewide. They are sponsored primarily by community-based nonprofit civic, religious, fraternal, and other mission-driven organizations. Education LeadingAge Florida provides numerous educational opportunities throughout the year, including a legislative workshop, as well as our Annual Convention and webinars and other workshops. LeadingAge Florida members receive a discounted registration fee on all our educational meetings and events. Visibility To Our Community Members Business members products and services are marketed to our community members in the following ways: A list of our business members is distributed to community members with member information and in regular communications from LeadingAge Florida. A list of our community members is provided to all business members via a printed directory and an online directory. Your business will be listed by category in our annual LeadingAge Florida Membership Directory and on the LeadingAge Florida website at www.leadingageflorida.org. This membership is available to companies that provide support services and/or products to long-term care (LTC) communities. The annual fee is $700, for our fiscal year beginning December 1 through November 30 of the following year. 3

Benefits Advocate Educate Serve Membership Directory - Your company s business description and contact information will be lised in both the printed and digital version of this important member resource. You are also eligible for adverisitng at a reduced member rate. Membership includes the annual printed directory. 2018 Directory of Members Access to Members Only information on our website. You ll have exclusive access to the most up-to-date member information and resources, including key contacts, demographic and industry data, ability to post jobs on CareerCenter and more. Annual Convention & Expos - Business members save on booth fees. This signature event attracts close to 500 decision-makers from provider communities. Professionals of all disciplines within the aging services field attend to learn and network with their peers and vendor partners. This three-day event in July features over 60 education programs and a two-day exposition that has sold out over the past four years. Expanding Possibilities for Aging Advocacy In Action - This annual event will give you the opportunity to meet state legislators and advocate for the issues that matter the most to you! Network with C-Suite employees from provider communities as they address several critical issues that may affect the future of the senior residents that reside in Florida. LeadingLink - You and your designated staff will receive our most valuable information tool, the LeadingLink. Our weekly e-newsletter keeps you up-to-date on fast-paced changes at the state and national lever that affect older adult service providers. You also have the opportunity to advertise at a reduced rate in the e-newsletter and/or on our website. Educational Presentations - LeadingAge Florida produces many educational events every year and we invite you, our business members to participate by submitting topics and presentations. Sponsorship Opportuities Available Florida Now More Than Ever Florida s population continues to grow at a rate of 1,000 people a day. Twenty percent of Florida s citizens are over the age of 65. The state s population ranks fourth behind only California, New York and Texas. The retirement industry in Florida is the state s second largest economic sector and senior spending power represents $135 billion each year. Florida s 4.5 million seniors represent the single largest voting bloc in the state. All of this points to a growing and dynamic LeadingAge Florida that will be at the forefront of assisting members in managing the future of long-term care services and housing.
