Do not use your school email address use your private one. Do not put your email address down as your parents, if your parents do not have an email account create one for them. Make sure your name matches exactly the same as it is written on your social security card.

We recommend that everyone apply to CSU San Marcos because that is our local campus. Most of our students who meet the A-G criteria often get accepted to CSU San Marcos. #UpNextDayOfAction

If you get free and/or reduced lunch, are in Talent Search, Upward Bound, or EAOP, you may be eligible for a CSU fee waiver, which will cover the cost of the application of up to four campuses. Makes it free! #UpNextDayOfAction

When you complete the applications it will ask you how much money your parents make. Make sure you double check the figure you put in. The system will tell you automatically if you qualify. If you do not qualify you will need to provide credit card information, which can be done at a later time, but will need to happen to complete the process. #UpNextDayOfAction

If you registered for the SAT with a SAT fee waiver twice, you are also eligible for College Board fee waivers that can be used to apply to 4 universities. There is a list of qualifying schools that they can be used at. The fee waiver is on your College Board online account. #UpNextDayOfAction

SAT or ACT If you have not taken the SAT or ACT please sign up for the November test date. If you get free or reduced lunch, are in Talent Search, Upward Bound, EAOP or your parents are low income you can get a SAT/ACT today! Just ask your College Kick Off teacher. #UpNextDayOfAction

If you have already registered for the SAT or ACT make sure you request that your test scores get sent to the colleges you apply to. SAT CSU: Send to code 3594 and ALL CSUs will get scores UC: Send to 1 UC and ALL will get scores ACT CSU: Send to 1 CSU and go on csumentor.edu to release to all CSUs UC: Send to 1 UC and ALL will get scores #UpNextDayOfAction
