MOOSE LEGION FELLOWSHIP NEWS For All The Current Moose Legion 31 News Visit our web site at: http://moosepages.org/home/legion31/ Terry Nelson Moose Legion 31 Asst Secretary SPORTS Tim Brown and Ted Becker teamed up to win the Monday / Wednesday AM Golf title. Jerry Bloxdorf, Bob Merten and James Brown organized the leagues. Great job and we'll see you all next year. You can still get your second drink free with your golf receipt of that day. One per day until the snow flies. The horseshoe winners were Jerry Simonsen and Merwin Tetzlaff. Jerry and John Kaiser chaired. Our ladies traveling horseshoe team took first place on Wednesday nights. The outdoor summer activities are over but there is lots to do at our Club. Check out the months calendar to see what's happening. Monday night pool is on going. Ron and Darla chair the Monday night pool. Stop in to watch the Monday night football games. The Monday / Wednesday morning AM pool has its first break on November 5th and 7th at 9:30 am. Andy Burger chairs the two leagues. Stop in he may still have openings to play. Lunch is served at 11:30 am each day. The Packers start November in New England on the 4th. They play Miami at Green Bay on the 11th and then on Thursday night the 15th they play in Seattle and finish off the month at Minnesota on the 25th at 7:30 pm. Packer parties start one hour before kickoff for every game. Drink specials, raffles and lots more for the games. This month; $2 16 oz. can beers while supplies last. The Gov. Joe Matteucci is your Packer game party chairman. The Mooseriders will host a Special Packer Party on December 2nd at noon vs the Arizona. All games times are subject to change. Notes: Thanksgiving is this month, Christmas and New Years follow in December. Happy Holidays to all. Now is the time to join the Riders for 2018 (no motorcycle necessary!) The Mooseriders are looking to schedule new events for next year. If you have any ideas of something you would like to do please email us at kenoshamooseriders@hotmail.com. We are also looking for new officers. You can join and have fun bringing ideas and creativity to the group. A new year is coming upon us very fast, join the Mooseriders for only $10 a year. You do not need to have a motorcycle to join this group, cars are welcome. We have membership meetings the 3rd Monday of the month. Board meetings for officers are at 6pm and membership meetings are at 7pm Remember to enjoy Packer games at the Moose. The Riders are going to be putting on a Mexican feast in December during the Dec. 2nd game. So please join us. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving

Through Moose KidsTalks presentations, participants in the program have reached an audience more than 750,000 children throughout North America. Students also have a chance to compete for $30,000 in college scholarship money that is awarded annually through this program. APPLY HERE! NEWS FROM YOUR SENIOR REGENT It has been very nice seeing new Coworkers joining us at our monthly meetings on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays at 7 PM! One of these Coworkers asked why more ladies do not come to the meetings. I would like to invite all WOTM Coworkers to join us at upcoming meetings. I hope to see more of you at the meetings. It is hard to believe that we are already 1/2 way through this Moose year! I thought it would be a good time to remind all of us that we are here to work together for the betterment of our Chapter, our Lodge and Moose International. We are also here to continue to help grow our Chapter and Lodge so that we can continue to support Mooseheart and Moosehaven for many years. Update on the Cookbooks: We were hoping to have them already, but unfortunately, there has been a delay. We will let you know when they arrive. Thank you to everyone who supported and helped with the Craft Fair. It takes all of us to make these events a success. October 30, 2018 - WOTM Quarter Auction Donations of new items are still being accepted for the next Quarter Auction on October 30th. Contact Kellee Abozoglai with any questions or to donate. Membership Retention Week is November 4-10, 2018. We have some fun activities planned for the week. Check your emails and signs around the Lodge to see what you may want to participate in with us.
