Department of Electronics Engineering organizes one day training cum mentoring session for NIYANTRA participants on 25 July, 2015 Under the IEEE Professional society. NIYANTRA is annual National Instruments LabVIEW based competition. Total 6 groups from various Nagpur Engineering colleges have qualified for Round 2 of NIYANTRA which includes 2 teams from GHRCE (Electronics Dept.), 2 teams from YCCE and 1 each from VNIT and Nagpur Institute of Technology. All these teams have attended the session. Experts from Arav System Pvt.Ltd.(NI alliance partner) Mr.Vikas and Mr. Sameer conducted the session. The main focus of this session was to guide the students on their project for round 2 of NIYANTRA. The whole activity Under the IEEE Professional society was coordinated by Prof.Ravikumar Tiwari who is also the guide of 2 selected teams from GHRCE.
Event Title: RRC seminar of M Tech VLSI and M Tech Electronics students Caption: RRC seminar of M Tech VLSI and M Tech Electronics students on 17th and 21st July respectively Research recognition committee panel was formed for M Tech VLSI and the activity was conducted on 17th July 2015 in which Dr. R. M. Patrikar was external expert from VNIT Nagpur. The same was arranged for M Tech Electronics on 21st July 2015 in which the external expert was Dr. K. D. Kulat, Professor VNIT Nagpur. Some corrections were suggested in the title of project for third semester students along with valuable suggestions from the experts. The panel included Dr. S. S. Dorle, HoD, Electronics Engg Department, Dr. U. S. Wankhede Dean R&D, Prof. A. Thomas Dean PG. M Tech coordinators Dr. S. D. Giripunje and Prof.P.H.Rangaree coordinated the entire activity.

Department of Electronics Engineering Organized A Technical Talk by Mr. Shaswat Jha (GHRCE Alumni) on cracking GD, PI in Campus Interviews under IEEE Professional activity for 3 rd & 4 th year Electronics Engineering on 03/08/2015. His discussion was helpful in understanding new concept of GD and PI. All doubt, and queries of students were solved. Students discussed their problems with Mr. Shaswat Jha. Event Title: ISR activity by Electronics Department Forum, ZENITH at Isasani Village. Caption: ISR activity by Electronics Department Forum, ZENITH at Isasani Village Electronics Engineering Department forum ZENITH organizes an awareness program on Digital India campaign for the students of Kunal Madhyamik Vidyalaya, at Isasani Village as part of Institute Social Responsibilities (ISR) activities. The team of ZENITH informed the students about Digital India and how it will improve the education system in India. Students were also informed about e-kranti, e-classroom, e-scholarships. At the end of program, a quiz was organized on using internet for intuitive learning. The principal of school thanks the ZENITH team and GHRCE for organizing such activities. The Head of Department Dr. Sanjay Dorle also appreciates the ZENITH team and encourages students to organize more such ISR activities for nearby villages. She is also an alumni from G.H.Raisoni College of Engineering. She answered each and every question raised by students regarding scope in IT sector, her role in Citrix etc. She helped a lot in clarifying student s doubts.she also shared her experience at Citrix and the work she carried out at company s end. It was essential for students to know her views in person. The guest lecture was coordinated by Prof. B.B. Sayankar.

Raisoni College of Engineering has organized a guest lecture on Advanced Broadband Antenna Application on dated 07 th August 2015 by Dr.Shyam Karode. He is working as Joint CEO in INOTEK Antennas, Newcastle Upon Tyne, UK. He was welcomed by Dr. S.S. Dorle, Head of Electronics Department, GHRCE. He mainly focused on the design & development of Advanced Broadband Antenna that can be manufactured to meet the industrial application requirement. He discussed necessary information to student about the types of antennas, manufacturing industries standard and procedure of manufacturing antennas. The main goal of the lecture was to discuss the recent technology & design requirement in the field of Advanced Broadband Antenna application. Post graduate students of VLSI and Electronics course was benefited by the lecture. Queries related to antenna design process were nicely entertained by expert. Prof. S.V. Event Title: Students of GHRCE selected for ESCALADE 4.0 under IIT Guwahati. Caption: Guwahati. Students of GHRCE selected for ESCALADE 4.0 under IIT Robotics competition ESCALADE 4.0 under IIT Guwahati, first round held at Ramdeobaba college of Engineering. Students of Electronics department along with other department students, GHRCE, Nagpur participated in competition. It is the fourth edition of this technical extravaganza, and rightly called Escalade 4.0. This competition is conducted in two phases, prelims and mains. The preliminary part of this event scheduled on 19th of July in 12 cities across the nation. The major technical attractions of the nation-pune, Hyderabad, Visakhapatnam, Bhopal, Indore, Patna, Bhubaneswar, Nagpur, New Delhi, Jaipur, Kolkata, Chennai, Chandigarh and Guwahati were the venues to this edition of Escalade. The problem statement for this round is to design a manual bot which can translate on the bridge and put the color block in the respective color pit. The students of Second year Electronics department, Vinay Motghare, Ankur Patil, Aditya Andraskar, Pallavi Wasni & Soumya Shatry clear the prelims round and are selected for main round which would be held at IIT Guwahati campus in the first week of September.
