ROCHESTER INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY TIGHE BAILEY The WACE National Co-op Scholarship will enable me to attend Rochester Institute of Technology this fall. I look forward to participating in the co-op program at RIT and gaining valuable experience in my career field. I am so thankful that I was chosen to receive this award and would like to thank everyone at WACE for this wonderful gift and opportunity! DREXEL UNIVERSITY Nicole BALDASSARRE I would just like to express my gratitude for receiving such a prestigious and competitive scholarship. Thanks to the WACE National Co-op Scholarship, I am able to attend my first-choice university, Drexel University, where I know I will be able to reach my full potential as both a student and an individual. This scholarship helps my family with some of the financial burden of paying for college. I will be able to enjoy my education at Drexel University for the next five years with less monetary-related stress. I am beyond excited to gain vital experience from my co-ops at Drexel! DREXEL UNIVERSITY Pasquale Carione The WACE National Co-op Scholarship will allow me to attend Drexel University which has been my dream college since the age of eight. It will allow me to gain the necessary experience to understand my career choices so that I can achieve a good and enjoyable job after I receive my degree. This scholarship has really made my life a lot easier, and for that I can never express enough gratitude. Page 17

JOHNSON & WALES UNIVERSITY Emily Depew Thank you for the WACE National Co-op Scholarship. This scholarship will help my dreams of attending Johnson & Wales University become a reality. I found my passion for Baking and Pastry Arts two years ago while attending my local BOCES. I love working in a hands on environment and cannot imagine pursuing a career in any other field. I am excited to start at Johnson & Wales University this fall and plan to apply for an externship in my second year, hopefully in France. Thank you for this wonderful opportunity. WENTWORTH INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY Sheena Dignean The WACE National Co-op Scholarship will allow me to pursue an education at my number one college choice, Wentworth Institute of Technology. I choose WIT because their Interior Design Program is listed as one of the Top Ten Undergraduate Programs in the US by Design Intelligence and because of its excellent coop program. The scholarship will assist me in reaching my goal of becoming a successful interior designer by participating in several co-ops with highly recognized companies in the exciting city of Boston. UNIVERSITY OF CINCINNATI Sadie DiMuzio This scholarship has enabled me to live the college dream of attending the University of Cincinnati. The primary purpose of scholarships is to promote higher education to students like me and encourage success. Like the co-op programs encouraged by WACE, the WACE National Co-op Scholarship benefits students eager to learn and succeed in the real world. Page 18

JOHNSON & WALES UNIVERSITY Linda Garcia I would like to thank WACE for the National Co-op Scholarship which I will use to attend Johnson & Wales University to study Baking and Pastry and Food Service Entrepreneurship. This scholarship has lessened the financial burden on my parents and will allow them to save money towards the education of my four siblings. I am very grateful as this scholarship not only helps my future but also the future of my brothers and sisters. THE UNIVERSITY OF TOLEDO Sarah Gerren I want to thank you for the WACE National Co-op Scholarship. It will allow me to turn my dream of attending The University of Toledo into a reality. This scholarship will enable me to participate in the co-op program at Toledo and receive a great college education. I know my experiences at The University of Toledo will allow me to become a productive member of society. WENTWORTH INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY Mallory Harper Thank you for the WACE National Co-op Scholarship. The scholarship provides the financial support I need to attend Wentworth Institute of Technology, my first choice college. It also gives me additional confidence knowing I was selected from among so many outstanding applicants. This scholarship offers me the opportunity and foundation required for a successful collegiate and professional career. Page 19

ROCHESTER INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY Christian Jarboe Thank you for the WACE National Co-op Scholarship to attend Rochester Institute of Technology this fall. I will greatly benefit from the opportunity to be in involved in the cooperative education program at RIT. The co-op program will help me gain marketable skills, achieve a good work ethic and allow me to have a wider range of opportunities and options when I graduate and enter the workforce. CLARKSON UNIVERSITY Christina Kackos By studying at a university that has a co-op program, I will be able to learn about my field of study, Bio- Molecular Science, in 3-dimensions. Real learning does not just come from reading a book or watching a video clip. In receiving the WACE National Co-op Scholarship, I have the opportunity to attend Clarkson University and put my learning to use in hands-on situations such as research, interning in my chosen field, or traveling to places where research is being applied. The WACE National Co-op Scholarship will enable me to take advantage of these opportunities. The University of Toledo Matthew Pusateri I am honored to have received the WACE National Co-op Scholarship. This esteemed scholarship will assist me in obtaining my Chemical Engineering Degree at The University of Toledo. It will also afford me the opportunity to participate in the excellent co-op education program. I know I will be well prepared to enter the workforce upon graduation. Page 20

CLARKSON UNIVERSITY Jarek Wierzba This scholarship is especially meaningful to me. I consider a CO-OP experience to be an incredible opportunity to apply in the real world what I will be learning in the classroom. The experience will help me to find what area I would like to focus my career on and will help me to use my degree in Engineering and Management to its fullest extent. Obtaining a degree in Engineering and Management from Clarkson University would be much more difficult without the financial assistance of the WACE National Co-op Scholarship. UNIVERSITY OF CINCINNATI Russell Zimmerman Being awarded the National Co-op Scholarship will definitely make my freshman year at the University of Cincinnati run smoother. I will now be able to focus more on my academics, rather than worrying about how I will pay for college. It is nice to know that co-ops are such a valued part of an education at the University of Cincinnati. Page 21
