TONY TUCKER Director of Academy and Basketball After his successful playing career, Tony has distinguished himself as a Leading Educator, successful Basketball Coach and Skills Trainer, a NBA Scout and a Sport Entrepreneur over the past two decades. JUSTIN BRANTLEY Associate Academy Director As a former Division 1 athlete, Justin brings 10+ years of high level coaching, training and recruiting experience combined with relentless will to win. His focus is on combining his expertise with the Student-Athletes desire to create results! An incredible residential, high school, and postgraduate sport performance training and education academy, located within a world -class event and wellness complex that has been recognized as an Official United States Olympic & Paralympic Training Site, as well as a FINA Training Site. The complex features 750,000 sq. feet of Olympic-caliber indoor swimming, track & field, soccer, volleyball, football, and basketball facilities, as well as SPIRE Performance, SPIRE Fit, SPIRE Fuel (nutritional food center), and SPIRE Banquet Center, on the 175 acre Campus. After his 13 year professional basketball career, Jermaine transitioned to a coaching role at the high school, AAU, and college levels. P O S T - G R A D A C A D E M I C O P T I O N S Post-Grad athletes are able to earn college credits or work to improve/repair their high school GPA. Athletes can also take SAT/ACT prep courses. SPIRE Staff works with Post-Grad athletes to achieve NCAA or NAIA eligibility. SPIRE 's Post-Grad Academy students board together in residence halls. Staff members living in the residence halls are responsible for the security, health and well-being of the athletes. In overseeing the daily life in the residence halls, they keep student athletes on schedule for training sessions and coordinate student athlete needs with staff and parents.
