Kanti Bijlee Utpadan Nigam Limited (KBUNL), is a subsidiary company of NTPC LTD. with a capacity of 610 MW at Kanti, Muzaffarpur Bihar. Nabinagar Power Generating Company Private Limited (NPGCL), is a Joint Venture company of NTPC LTD., NPGCL and BSPGCL (Bihar State Power Generation Company Limited) with an under construction capacity of 1980 MW. Applications are invited from energetic young Diploma Engineers with brilliant academic record to join BRBCL, KBUNL and NPGCL through a common online test and a common skill test. The final placement of the candidates in these companies shall be done on merit-cum-choice of the selected candidates, which shall be final once the offer of appointments are issued, and shall not change under any circumstances. Candidates may note that the recruitment of Diploma Trainees is being done exclusively for BRBCL, KBUNL and NPGCL. The selected candidates shall have NO claim in NTPC Limited, whatsoever. The candidates will be permanent employees of their respective companies and will be governed by the rules, regulations and policies of their concerned company. DIPLOMA TRAINEES *Mechanical ( 56 ) *Electrical ( 55) *C&I (30) *Civil (9) - Total 150 TRAINING, EMOLUMENTS & PLACEMENT: Selected candidates will undergo training for a period of 2(two) years in the company in which they are placed, and will be paid a consolidated stipend of 15,500/- per month. On successful completion of training, these candidates will be absorbed in the pay scale of 15500-3%-34500/- (W7 grade, Jr. Foreman / Jr. Controller / Jr. Work Assistant) in their respective company. They shall be regularized only on the rolls of their respective organization after successful completion of their training. Selected candidates shall be governed by the rules, regulations and policies of the company in which they are placed viz: BRBCL/ KBUNL /NPGC.

AGE LIMIT AS ON 26.04.2017: Upper Age limit For General - 25 years. For Land Oustees - 35 years. Age relaxation to OBC(NCL)/SC/ST/PWD/XSM shall be as per govt. guidelines (refer section on reservations and relaxations). QUALIFICATION: Discipline Electrical Mechanical C&I Qualification* Full time regular three yrs. Diploma in Electrical / Electrical & Electronics Engineering with minimum 70% marks. Full time regular three yrs. Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with minimum 70% marks. Full time regular three yrs. Diploma in Instrumentation/ Electronics Engineering with minimum 70% marks. Civil Full time regular three yrs. Diploma in Civil Engineering with minimum 70% marks. Relaxation for SC/ST/PWD (where vacancies are identified): Pass marks Relaxation for Land Oustees: 50% marks. All qualifications should be from Indian Institutes recognized by BTE/AICTE / appropriate statutory authority. *Note: Only those candidates who possess the required qualification on or before the last date of application are eligible to apply. Candidates with higher qualifications need not apply. RESERVATIONS AND RELAXATIONS: 01 Reservations and relaxations for SC / ST / OBC (non-creamy layer) /XSM / PWD (degree of disability 40% or above) candidates will be provided as per Government guidelines. Relaxations will be extended in vacancies identified for SC / ST / OBC (non-creamy layer) / PWD candidates. 02 Data/information (including category/ type of disability) once filled in the application form and submitted, will not be allowed to be changed at a later date and no benefit of other category will be admissible later on. 03 No registration fee will be charged from SC/ST/PWD/XSM candidates. 04 The upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST candidates, 3 years for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates. It is relaxed by 10 years for PWD- General, 13 years for PWD-OBC and 15 years for PWD-SC/ST candidates. 05 The OBC candidates who belong to Creamy Layer are not entitled for OBC concession and such candidates have to indicate their category as General. The OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates are required to submit requisite certificate in prescribed format of Government of India, from a competent authority issued in the current year. Further, such candidates will have to give a self-undertaking indicating that they belong to OBC (Non creamy Layer) category at the time of skill test, if called for.

06 Upper age is relaxed by 5 years for the candidates who had ordinarily been domiciled in the state of Jammu & Kashmir from 01.01.80 to 31.12.89. Age relaxation will be applicable for XSM as per Government guidelines. SELECTION PROCESS: Eligible candidates will have to undergo two hours objective type online test. Based on the merit and requirement, the list of successful candidates for appearing in skill test will be made available at http://dtjvrecruitment.net.all such short listed candidates will have to appear for skill test for which they have to download the admit card from the same website. No other communication will be sent to such candidates through post. TEST CENTERS: The computer based on-line examination will be held in 06 cities i.e. Patna, Kolkata, Ranchi, Dhanbad, Jamshedpur and Muzaffarpur. Candidates have to opt/choose 3 (Three) examination cities in order of their preference. Candidates have to choose a city as Test Centre and no change under any circumstance will be considered subsequently. Best efforts shall be made to allot a test centre in the city of his/her choice to a candidate; however, in the event of non availability of seats in the preferred city, a test centre in some other city may be allotted. The candidates shall have to abide by the same and no requests for any change in the centres shall be entertained, whatsoever. BRBCL/KBUNL/NPGCL reserves the right to add or cancel any center depending on the no. of candidates choosing a particular city / center. ABOUT ONLINE TEST: The Online Test is scheduled to be held tentatively on 14/15 th June 2018 (Thursday/Friday). The test can be taken in Hindi or English. The test will be in two parts. Part-I will be Knowledge Test and will consist of 70 multiple-choice questions of the relevant disciplines as advertised. Part-II will be Aptitude Test and will consist of 50 multiple-choice questions on English, Quantitative aptitude & Reasoning. 1/4th mark will be deducted for each wrong answered question. ABOUT SKILL TEST: All such short listed candidates of the online test will have to appear for skill test wherein applied knowledge of the respective discipline will be tested. SERVICE AGREEMENT BOND: The selected candidates will be required to execute a service agreement bond with respective organization for 1,00,000/- (plus GST as applicable) for General and OBC candidates and 50,000/-(plus GST as applicable) for SC/ST/PWD to serve the company for a minimum period of 3 years after completion of training. The bond amount for XSM candidates shall depend upon their category. HEALTH: The candidate should have sound health. At the time of joining, candidates will have to undergo medical examination by a Medical Board and the decision of the board will be final and binding. Appointment will be subject to meeting the prescribed medical norms of the respective companies. No relaxation in medical norms is allowed. Detailed medical norms shall be made available on the website.

The link for application shall not be functional after 16.05.2018 (23:59 hours) for Step-I & Step-II and 19.05.2018 (23.45 hours) for Step-III. 04 Fees once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.
