CALL TO ORDER The meeting was called to order at 10: 01 a.m. by Commission Executive Director Bruce Whidden and President Jeanne Fugate. 2. PUBLIC COMMENTS ON MATTERS WITHIN BOARD S JURISDICTION No request for public comment. 3. APPROVAL OF MINUTES The Board unanimously approved the minutes of the regular meeting of Thursday, May 24, 2018 on a motion by Commissioner Esparza, seconded by Commissioner McClelland. 4. COMMISSION ACTION ON ROUTINE AND OTHER MATTERS The Board unanimously approved routine and non-appearance matters under Unfinished Business, page two, item 5 and New Business, pages three through 12, items 6 and 7 on a motion by Commissioner Esparza, seconded by Commissioner McClelland.

2 NON-APPEARANCE ITEMS UNFINISHED BUSINESS 5. RESIGNATIONS, SETTLEMENTS AND WITHDRAWALS UNDER CHARTER SECTION 1016 TO BE MADE A MATTER OF RECORD a. Jose MIRANDA, Security Officer, Department of Airports. Suspension effective January 28, 2018 to February 2, 2018, inclusive (five-working days made appealable because of a three-day suspension imposed in October 2017). Settlement agreement whereby the Department agreed to reduce the penalty of a 5-working day suspension to no penalty; the Appellant agreed to let stand as a matter of record the causes of action filed against him; the Appellant agreed to withdraw his appeal from Suspension now pending before the Civil Service Commission; the parties agreed to other terms and conditions.
