Suzanne Rosas or srosas@gwc.cccd.edu Academy Instructor Certificate Course (AICC) POST: PLAN 5 Pre-requisite: This course is presented in conjunction with POST and there is no fee for the class. You must be a candidate for teaching in a POST Regular Basic Course. The AICC course is intended to equip instructors with the skills, competencies and knowledge necessary to deliver training for recruits and peace officers in a manner that emphasizes the retention and application of knowledge consistent with the goals and mission of policing. A primary goal of AICC is to comply with the requirements of the minimum standards for Regular Basic Course (RBC) instructors detailed in POST Regulations 1071, 1082, and Dates: Fall 2016 and Spring hours/2 weekends/ 4 days (Friday and Saturday) Time: 7 am 6 pm For information contact Suzanne Rosas at or srosas@gwc.cccd.edu Orientation, Police Academy, Regular Basic Course CJ G054 2 units This course is designed to familiarize the student with the police academy training program and may be taken 4 times.
