5 4. Access to the Location of the Competition. The cost of travel to and from the host country will be the responsibility of the participating country. The organizer will provide the transportation from the place of arrival in the host country to the place of stay and also the transport during the competitions 5. Conditions of Stay 5.1- Board & lodging: During their stay in I.R. of Iran, missions will be guests of the I.R.I. Armed Forces from Aug 2014.Full Board and lodging will be at the expenses of the organizer. Extra expenses (telephone, drinks, laundry, etc ) must be paid by the consumers. Any cost before the foreseen arrival date and/or after the departure date must be covered by the participants. Additional accompanying persons shall pay for their own hotel accommodation. The organizer will help & provide reservation as requested. Person will not be accepted without official written permission of the Organizers. 5.2 Medical support In case of emergent medical support (first aid), a doctor and an ambulance will be available. Further costs incurred for medical support are to be met by the participants. 6. Regulations of the Championship. The competitions will be governed by the following CISM regulations: CISM Taekwondo Regulations Edition downloaded from: milsport.org/sports/ Can betaekwondo / Regulations 6-1.Eligibilty: The athletes of the invited countries must be active servicemen in the military. All of the participant are asked to present the following documents: for the athletes: a military identification card, a passport and Kukkiwon/(WMTF Dan Certificate), Global license from WTF for both athletes and team officials. The referee: a passport and a certificate from WTF/WMTF. Any additional referees must be approved by the CSC. 5

8 Notes: -There will be 2 Poomsae Divisions: WTF Individual and Team Divisions -WTF Poomsae Competition will consist only of WTF/Kukkiwon approved Poomsae -Uniform for WTF Poomsae is the WTF Regulation Poomsae Uniform -Scoring for WTF Poomsae will be done in accordance with WTF Poomsae International Poomsae Scoring guidelines using Computer Scoring -Note: Each country can have maximum 6 male and 6 female athletes in Poomsae. -Each country can have 1 participant in each age category. 7. Anti-doping a. Anti Doping tests will be organized in accordance with the CISM anti-doping regulations CISM Regulations Chapter IX. b. The number of tests shall be determined by the CISM Anti Doping Commission established during the Preliminary meeting, according to the CISM Regulations. c. The tests will be performed according to the latest WADA Anti Doping Code and Procedures 8. Uniforms Summer Military Uniforms are mandatory for the opening and closing ceremonies. Sport Activities: Track suit. Other activities: Day uniform & civilian 1 flag and 1 national anthem (on CD) 9. Customs and Visa Procedures. 15 ANNEX 2c FInal Entry-COMMITMENT BY THE CHIEF OF MISSION NATION: The undersigned, Chief of Mission declare that he has read the Article 7.30 of CISM Regulations and moreover understood the following prescriptions: A. Chief of Mission 1. Chiefs of Mission shall be familiar with CISM regulations. 2. Missions must not only participate or be present at sports events, they are also required to participate in information conferences on CISM, study days, commemorative and cultural events and ceremonies organized by the host nation. B. Conduct of a mission 1. The Chief of Mission is responsible for the behavior of his team in sports and general discipline. He shall ensure that members of his mission respect the rules and directives prescribed by CISM and organizers of the championship. The respect of schedules is particularly important as they form the basis for the effective conduct of competitions and ceremonies. Instances of indiscipline or poor sportsmanship will be handled by Championship officials and may result in the disqualification of individual athletes or teams. 2. The Chief of Mission shall also enforce the rules concerning behavior and dress during the ceremonies. He plays an important role in promoting the CISM spirit among his mission, a spirit represented by friendly attitude towards other missions, courtesy towards organizers and fair-play in competition. The mission, who does not wear military uniforms during the opening ceremony of a Championship, will not be authorised to take part in the Championship. The Official CISM Representative will communicate this decision. 3. In conformity with the Statutes and traditions of CISM, any political or religious action during a CISM event, in particular the dissemination of propaganda documents, pictures, brochures, reviews, etc, is strictly forbidden. Iran is Hosting 22nd World Military Taekwondo Championships Tehran, August 2014 Learning Martial Arts is very exciting for interested people though it is very necessary for Armed Forces since they apply martial skills for maintaining security in the society. Like other countries, Iranian Armed Forces are trained in Martial Arts. Even the traditional and ancient sport of Iran which goes back to thousand years ago is a kind of Martial Art. Learning Martial Arts became obligatory for Iranian Armed Forces from 1960s. In 1970, the first Taekwondo training courses were held under the supervision of Physical Education of Iran Army for 75 officers and high ranked officials. Now, Iranian Armed Forces have to practice Martial Arts several hours a day besides other exercises. Civilians also learnt Taekwondo for the first time by the Military in Iran and today after the passage of 50 years since taekwondo entered Iran, Iran s Taekwondo has changed to one of the greatest powers in the World due to the efficient investment and management in the past 30 years. Winning the world and regional standings during the last 16 years in several international events, standing on the first place in CISM for two times and winning the second place of CISM for two times proves this claim. Tehran metropolis is honored to host 22nd World Military Taekwondo Championships. Having hosted this event in 1992 and 1995, this is the third time we are hosting CISM and we will do our best to host the most memorable event taking advantage of our past experiences.
