20 UCMJ Uniform Code of Military Justice Three Types of Court Martial Summary May impose: 1 month confinement, 45 days hard labor, 2 months restriction, or 1 month forfeiture of pay. Special May impose: 6 months confinement, 3 months hard labor, forfeiture of two-thirds pay for up to 6 months, or bad conduct discharge.
