Lamontagne is Deputy Director of Operations, Strategic Deterrence and Nuclear Integration for Headquarters Air Mobility Command, Scott Air Force Base, Illinois. As deputy director, he is responsible for policy and procedures for worldwide air operations and transportation functions assigned to the command. These include airfield operations; Civil Reserve Air Fleet; command and control; combat, nuclear, and current operations; operational requirements; aeromedical evacuation; training; and standardization programs. Prior to assuming his current position, Colonel Lamontagne held command positions at the squadron, group and wing levels. He was also assigned to the Strategy Office within the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Policy. Millard is the Executive Officer to the Commander, United States Transportation Command, Scott Air Force Base (AFB), Ill. Col. Millard is a 1991 distinguished graduate of the Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps program at the University of New Mexico, Albuquerque. Following undergraduate pilot training, he flew the C-5 and was then selected for Phoenix Hawk, Air Mobility Command's intern program. Col. Millard crossflowed to the KC-10 and served as the Operations Officer, 908th Expeditionary Air Refueling Squadron and the Commander, 21st Air Mobility Operations Squadron, where he formed the Combined Air Operations Center Air Mobility Division. He also deployed as the Deputy Commander, 380th Expeditionary Operations Group, Al Dhafra Air Base, Southwest Asia and Commander, 60th Operations Group, Travis AFB, Calif. and later was the Commander, 376th Air Expeditionary Wing, Transit Center at Manas, Kyrgyz Republic. Miller is the commander, 22nd Air Refueling Wing, McConnell Air Force Base, Kansas, the Air Force s largest tanker wing. The wing provides all-weather, in-flight, aerial refueling for U.S. and allied military aircraft and airlift for Global Reach projection of troops, equipment and supplies, worldwide. Colonel Miller commands more than 3,000 active-duty Airmen supporting global contingency and conventional operations as well as U.S. Strategic Command s operational plans. The 22 ARW is the host Wing for the Kansas Air National Guard's 184th Intelligence Wing and the Air Force Reserve Command's 931st Air Refueling Wing. Colonel Miller is a command pilot with more than 4,100 flying hours, primarily in the C-17A, KC-135R/T, and C-12F. He has broad experience in mobility operations to include tanker, airlift, command and control, special operations and Deputy Director of Mobility Forces. He is an Air Force strategist and was the Chief of Plans for the Joint Staff. Prior to his current assignment, the colonel was the Commander of the 515th Air Mobility Operations Wing, Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, HI. The colonel graduated from the U.S. Air Force Academy in 1992 and is a graduate of the National War College and the School of Advanced Air and Space Studies. He is responsible for the combat readiness of the Air Force's only B-2 base, including development and employment of the B-2's combat capability as part of Air Force Global Strike Command. As Whiteman s installation commander, he provides logistics support for the Air Force Reserve 442d Fighter Wing; Missouri Air National Guard 131st Bomb Wing; Air Combat Command 20th Attack Squadron; and the Missouri Army National Guard 1st Battalion, 135th Assault Helicopter Battalion. Additionally, he manages flying assets in excess of $46 billion and an annual operations and maintenance budget of $147 million. Colonel Nichols received his commission through the U.S. Air Force Academy in Following graduation, over the span of seven years and four assignments he served as an Intelligence Officer. Colonel Nichols then attended Specialized Undergraduate Pilot Training at Vance Air Force Base, Oklahoma, and served multiple flying assignments in the B-1. While serving as the 28th Operations Group Commander at Ellsworth Air Force Base, South Dakota, Colonel Nichols led the standup of the 432d Attack Squadron, the wing s first and only MQ-9 unit. Colonel Nichols also commanded the 14th Flying Training Wing at Columbus AFB, Mississippi. Prior to his current assignment, he served as the Deputy Director, Operations, Headquarters Air Force Global Strike Command, Barksdale Air Force Base, Louisiana. Colonel Nichols is a command pilot with more than 2,270 flying hours.
