12 SAT applicants must meet the following eligibility criteria. Citizenship Applicants must be nationals of the EU and Asian Countries concerned: Cambodia, China, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Mongolia, Thailand, Philippines, Vietnam, and targeted by SAT project. They can apply to a university of a different Continent, only. No intra-european or intra-asian mobility can be funded under EM projects. EU 12 months rule Applicants who by the time of the call have been residing or carrying out their main study or work activities in Europe for a period exceeding 12 months -even merging different stays- over last five years before the call deadline, are not eligible to apply. This rule does not apply to TG 3 candidates. EM Scholarship holders Applicants who have been formerly granted cannot benefit twice from an EM scholarship in the same project or for the same type of mobility under Erasmus Mundus Action 2.
