2 Personal Statement: Please attach a one page (maximum) statement describing your academic and/or research accomplishments, any previous awards or scholarships, extracurricular service, and any contributions you have made to the Department of Biological Sciences; and outline your future career goals. Please note that two scholarships, the Sisley and Shand, have specific additional requirements for written statements. Please include those additional statements with your application, if you are applying for either of those scholarships. Financial Aid Award Letter: If you currently receive financial aid through the NAU Financial Aid Office, please attach a copy of your current award letter. If you are working full- or part-time while attending classes, please describe your employment in your Personal Statement. Transcript: Please attach a current transcript (LOUIE transcripts are fine). Letters of Support: TWO letters of support, including at least one from a Biology department faculty or staff member, must be submitted to the Academic Excellence Committee (NAU Biology, P.O. Box 5640, Flagstaff, AZ, ) or delivered to the Biological Sciences Advisement Center, Rm. 257, Bldg. 21 by the closing date. List below the names of individuals who have agreed to write support letters, and ensure that such letters are submitted. Jerry O.Wolf Student Enrichment Scholarship Majoring in any one of our majors Preference will be given to students studying organismal biology with an emphasis in animal behavior, ecology, and evolution Maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.0 Kerry Henrickson scholarship: Undergraduate biology students who are holding positions with educational responsibilities are eligible for this award. This includes, but is not limited to, all supplementary instructors and recitation leaders. Applicants should have at least one semester of instructional experience.
