Based on the infrastructure of Gil Medical Center, which is the research centered hospital of Korea s top 3, our medical school, school of oriental medicine and school of pharmacy have accomplished outstanding researches in the medical related field. Moreover, the education fields of engineering, economics, management, art, music and physical education also have continued to play remarkable parts. Through the selection for the various specialized projects supervised by the government for the last year and this year consecutively, we have received various supports of national treasury and the development of our university is expected to soar into the air. This will eventually contribute much benefit to students such as the specialization in education courses and the expansion of scholarship and overseas training opportunity. We have established the system of inducement and management of excellent international students and have been appointed as <International Education Quality Assurance System> from the government. 4 Appointed by the Ministry of Education th 15 day of 2014 in the assessment of International Education Quality Assurance System (IEQAS) in 2014 supervised by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Justice. Through the selection for accredited university, we have been evaluated for the establishment of the inducement & management system for excellent international students. In addition, the accreditation of has been specified at the official website of the Ministry of Education such as College Introduction and Korea International Study Integrated System, and the domestic & overseas public confidence has been procured to disclose to foreign governments. The examining criteria for visa issuance shall be eased off, and we shall enjoy the benefit in the financial support project in relation to international students. 06 The Korean Language Aptitude Test is the national test which result can be utilized for international study and employment by measuring and evaluating the ability of Korean language use targeting foreigners and overseas Koreans whose mother language is not Korean. All applicants should meet one of the following language requirements: - Standard TOPIK Level 3 or above - TOEFL ibt 80 (CBT 210, PBT 550), IELTS 5.5, TEPS 550 or above - A native from country using English as an official language (may apply for English taught programs only) Integral evaluation by considering the study plan and the level of Korean language Application Unit Interview Total Entire Education Courses 100%(100 points) 100%(100 points) Substitute with the document examination for the admission process of overseas residents A. In the event that an applicant acceptance is cancelled due to failure of various notices caused by wrongly ritten contact information in the application form or contact interruption, the relevant applicant is not allowed to raise any objection for whatever reasons later. Submission of diploma(copy) and school records(original) An applicant for the transfer entrance who resides abroad should submit the school records of a junior college by getting them translated and notarized in Korean. A Chinese applicant should submit the certification of educational background issued by the website designated the Chinese Education Ministry, or the original of the consulconfirmed 17 2 copies of final education verification copy at the Korean Consulate in China. The students from the other countries than China should submit the original of the consul-confirmed copy at the Korean Consulate in China, or apostilled notarized copy. 18 CProof of activity during the period of blank Applicable for the relevant applicant only (If the applicant time has elapsed 2 years or more after graduation, a certificate of working experience or learning plan should be attached.) All documents but an entrance application, a statement of purpose, a letter of consent for academic background check and an affidavit of support should be submittedin 2 copies, respectively. Application Process All certificates issued from abroad should obtain an apostille notarization or be confirmed by the relevant consul at the respective country.
