3 FOREIGN STUDY PROGRAM AGREEMENT ROTARY CLUB OF MARIETTA, GEORGIA The undersigned recipient of the Rotary Club of Marietta, Georgia, Reinhard Scholarship, for and in consideration of payment of the scholarship funds by the Rotary Club of Marietta, Georgia, to the undersigned, undertakes and agrees as follows: 1. Undersigned will use the scholarship funds only for the reasons and purposes stated in the application for Scholarship, a copy of which is attached. 2. In the event the undersigned should fail to use the scholarship funds as aforesaid, or should misappropriate or misuse them within the terms of this Agreement, the undersigned will be obligated to fully reimburse and repay the Scholarship funds to the Rotary Club of Marietta, Georgia. 3. The undersigned also acknowledges that it is important to the members of the Rotary Club that they receive a report from the scholarship recipient at the completion of the recipient s foreign studies. For that reason, the recipient undersigned agrees to reasonably cooperate with the Rotary Club of Marietta, its officers and members, in attending a meeting of the Rotary Club for the purpose of giving the report. Include statements of educational background, occupational and scholastic ambitions, practical experience, special interests, specific purpose in applying for the scholarship, and how you plan to finance the portion of your program not covered by this scholarship. 6 ROTARY INTERNATIONAL STUDY SCHOLARSHIP ANNOUNCED The Marietta Rotary Club is soliciting applicants for the Reinhard Scholarship for international study. This scholarship was established by the estate of Karl J. and Paula Reinhard and is designed to promote international understanding. Financial assistance is provided to qualified participants for an international study program selected by the applicant. The scholarship value is based on the need, value is at least $2,000.00, and will be awarded in Applicants must be a U.S. Citizen, a resident of Cobb County, and must have completed fifteen quarter hours of college study. Additional information and applications can be obtained by writing to the Marietta Rotary Club, Reinhard Scholarship Committee, 598 Nancy Street, Suite 100, Marietta, Georgia REINHARD SCHOLARSHIP The Karl J. and Paula Reinhard Scholarship Fund was established in 1972 by bequest of former member, Karl Reinhard. The purpose of the scholarship fund is to provide financial assistance to worthy students for foreign study. Each Rotary year, the Scholarship Committee makes a monetary award to the selected applicant. During these intervening years, the scholarship has afforded a number of deserving individuals the opportunity to pursue their studies abroad. Not only have they enriched themselves and our community as they return, but they have been good representatives of our country, Rotary International, and our Marietta Rotary Club in particular. The committee is presently accepting applications for an award to be made in June To be eligible, the applicant must be a U.S. Citizen and a legal resident of Cobb County, presently, or have been, an undergraduate or graduate student having earned a minimum of 15 quarter hours (9 semester hours) of post high school credit, have reasonable assurance of being accepted into a specific college or program of study outside the continental United States. The award this year will be at least $2,000.00, and the applicant must indicate sufficient resources to supplement this amount if necessary.

7 REINHARD SCHOLARSHIP SYNOPSIS ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS The Karl and Paula Reinhard Trust was established for the purpose of granting financial assistance to Cobb County residents for college level of study outside the continental limits of the United States. Recipients of the scholarship must meet the following requirements: 1. Be a U.S. citizen and a legal resident of Cobb County, Georgia. 2. Be a student in good standing of, or a graduate from, an accredited college or university. 3. Have reasonable expectations of being accepted into the program of study for which the scholarship money is requested. 4. Be able to show sufficient financial resources to supplement the scholarship reward for successful completion of the proposed program. GENERAL A total scholarship of at least $2, will be awarded in June, The study program for which the scholarship is granted must commence before the end of the calendar year in which it is made. The award may be divided between more than one recipient at the discretion of the Scholarship Committee based on the needs set forth in the applications. Finalists should expect to be asked to appear for a personal interview. The names of the 2017 scholarship winner will be announced in the public media in June, or as soon thereafter as possible. No papers will be returned. All information will be treated in a confidential manner and will be made available only to the Scholarship Committee. Recipients will be expected to give a brief verbal report to the Marietta Rotary Club at one of its regular meetings after the program of study has been completed.
