1 Philippines Friendship Team Visits Franklin Rotary By John Short The Philippine Friendship Team provided todays program. Stacy Guffey introduced Elenita "Ellen" Landicho, team leader, who introduced the members of the group. The team included: Alicia Panerio, President and General manager of ALSID ENT, a military supplies marketing firm.; Lolita Anahaw an enterpreneur business woman involved in child care.; Marilou Salazar, Owner/President of a refrigeration and air conditioning supply company; Violeta Violy and Team leader Ellen Landicho, President of Eland Trading Corp., an accredited supplier of government agencies. The team had a great time while in Franklin exploring Highlands and viewing the area waterfalls; enjoying an evening of fellowship at the Rathskeller and shopping at the Gem Museum, which I understand had to restock after their visit. It was great to have the team with us in Franklin and hope they enjoy the remainder of their stay in Western North Carolina.
