2 National Scholarships are highprofile national competitions that may fund: Undergraduate Degrees Undergraduate Summer Experiences Graduate School Study Abroad experiences

3 A Few Scholarships Undergraduates may apply (Usually, Sophomores and Juniors)

4 Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship Up to $5,000 to study or intern abroad U.S. citizen undergraduate students receiving Federal Pell Grant funding Must be applying to or accepted into a study abroad program Study or Intern abroad must be for at least four weeks (28 days) in one country and no more than one academic year Next Application deadline: March 6, 2018 Summer

Goldwater Scholarships Supports 1 or 2 years of study toward a Bachelor s degree Full-time Sophomores and Juniors interested in Mathematics, Natural Sciences, and Engineering Requirements Sophomore or Junior at full-time status at the time of application US citizen, national, or permanent residents of US who intend to become citizens A minimum 3.0 GPA CSU can nominate up to 4 students Institutional Deadline: December 1,

6 Phi Kappa Phi Undergraduate Study Abroad Grants $1,000 Study Abroad Grants open to all disciplines for Studying Abroad You DO NOT have to be a Phi Kappa Phi member Must have a minimum 3.75 GPA Must have applied and/or been accepted to a study abroad program Session A Deadline: February 15, 2018 Session B Deadline: September 15,

Udall Undergraduate Scholarships Students of Sophomore or Junior standing should have commitment to careers related to: The environment, tribal public policy, or Native American Health Care $5,000 for a years worth of educational expenses Institutional Deadline: February 15, 2018 Requirements: Must be US citizen or permanent resident 3.0 GPA or better and at full time status Willing to attend 4-day scholars orientation in Arizona in August CSU has a limited number of nominations

11 Rhodes Scholarships Pays for one to three years of graduate study at Oxford University, plus a stipend and travel expenses to and from England Must be a US Citizen and of Senior Status Application Deadline: October 4,
