Organizational Structure:- The management of UJJIBAN-03 is vested in the hands of a Governing body duly nominated in the general meeting of Founder and General members for a Terms of three years. All business and transactions are carried out /conduct according to the Bye-Laws of the society. Society will concentrate to develope knowledge and attitude to make community self-sufficient, dignity in living with sustainable use of Natural and Human Resources towards a value based just society. Society will also act towards minimizing Disaster and Natural calamities towards mobilizing community on Disaster Risk Reduction. 4

The work of UJJIBAN-03 in any from has been extended to villages of Burdwan, Bankura, Purulia, and Birbhum and population about 15 Lacs who are enjoying the benefit. 9. Balance Sheet: - This financial year the balance Sheet of UJJIBAN-03 stand to about 17 lakhs the organization is running NO LOSS NO PROFIT basis. 10. Human Resource Management: - UJJIBAN 03 does not have any permanent staff structure; all the energetic youths are working as a volunteer in this organization. UJJIBAN 03 tries to meet their financial need through Honorarium which is very less than their voluntary service. All the volunteers are working on contract basis, depending on the project and duration of support from the donors. 5

6 ANNUAL REPORT FROM THE DESK OF SECRETARY Respected Members Submitting this presentation in successive year in 9 th General Meeting of members of our beloved organization is rare opportunity on my part and great honor shown to me. I am grateful and thankful to all members extending their support and this opportunity. The activity through the year have been mentioned in different pages of this report for very kind perusal of the members. The main motto of our activities is to uplift the living standard of poor of the country and also to equip our people qualitatively with latest technological know how so that they can face the challenges of development along with the world Community of developed Curtis. We believe that India lives in her villages as because 80% of her people live in the villages. So we consider that it an impossible task to do anything of the people if we ignore The development of the villages. Our organization is a socio- welfare (Self help) and basic fundamental ideas now being generated in our mind are to develop the villages and rural based economy of our project are teaching income generating based. This is also the motto of the Government of West Bengal also Govt. of India. Our sphere of activities have been extend in 1500 villages of Burdwan, Purulia, Bankura& Birbhum district. We believe that this is an achievement on the part of our organization. 8 Our Activities in brief NATIONALBANK FOR AGRICULTURE AND RURAL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM District : Burdwan UJJIBAN 03 actively helping in formation and nurturing SHGs and JLGs in Ausgram I, Ausgramii, and Galsi Block area of Burdwan district. NATIONALBANK FOR AGRICULTURE AND RURAL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM District : Purulia SKILL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME Ujjiban has organized 3 Nos. Skill Development Training Programme on Tailoring at Sunuri, Kantha Stitch at Brindabanpur & Computer Education at Madhukunda in Santuri Block area of Purulia District. This status help Ujjiban-03 for formation with some financial assistance 100Nos Self Help Group within 2 Years at Santuri,& Neturia Blocks. Ujjiban-03 formed 100 Nos. SHGs 9

DISASTER MANAGEMENT PROGRAMME UJJIBAN join as member representative at Second State Disaster Management Congress Name SAMBIT-II at Jalpaiguri organized by State Inter Agency Group, West Bengal. UJJIBAN has prepared District Level Multi Hazard District Disaster Management Plan of Burdwan, Bankura, Birbhum for the year Disaster Management Programme under Indira Gandhi National Open University: Ujjiban Representative join as master trainer of Face To Face Training Programe of IGNOU. Ujjiban showing mock drill in Burdwan and Bankura district. 8 Nos. programme in each district under this FFTP, IGNOU Disaster Management Programme in Mati utsab Panagarh Mati Utsab at Panagarh, dist Burdwan organized by Government of West Bengal. All department like Agriculture, Health, Water Resource, Culture, Disaster Management Deptt. Also join this utsab. UJJIBAN invited by District Disaster Management Section, Burdwan for organized a awareness programme on disaster management through a KABI GAAN At this programme. UJJIBAN perform this programme successfully with the presence of Representative of Disaster Management Directorate Kolkata, Mr. Swapan Debnath MIC WB, DDMO, Burdwan and many other dignitaries. 11 Disaster Management Programme in Degree College Of Nursing at Burdwan Mr. Ardhendu Banerjee Secretary, UJJIBAN delivered a lecture on Mock Drill under Disaster Management for the student of B. UJJIBAN teach the children and their guardians about different process of Mock Drill with Local Resource for save their life during disaster. This Programme Organized in collaboration with SSDC and under Save the Children. 11

13 Survey on MGNREGS UJJIBAN is now member of West Bengal Progressive Alliance. And also Mr. Ardhendu Banerjee, Secretary, UJJIBAN is the core committee member of WBPA Ranagamati Region. (Dist. Under Ranagamati region is Burdwan, Birbhum, Bankura, Purulia and Pashim Medinapur). Ujjiban has complete a sample survey on MGNREGS. Study of MGNREGS survey was discuss at Orissa, Mr. Kanchan Bhattacharya join as Ujjiban representative on 20 th to 21 st March All these programme of organized by WBPA. STATE INTER AGENCY GROUP PROGRAMME UJJIBAN selected as lead agency of Burdwan district under State IAG, West Bengal Burdwan chapter. In this connection Ujjiban organized a meeting programme of State IAG, Burdwan Chapter On Dated at JAGARI meeting Hall Burdwan and Ujjiban also organized a workshop At Burdwan Development Meeting Hall (Administrative Building) on Disaster Risk Reduction Programmee. Particimants coming from Different district of South Bengal. Free Medical Checkup Camp : Ujjiban 03 organized Free Medical Checkup Camp in Ujjiban 03 premises and also some neighbor Village one number in each month round the year. OBSERVATION OF DAY WITH SPECIAL IMPORTANCE Ujjiban-03 organized various program on these days like 15 th August, 26 th January, 23 rd January, 14 th November, 11 th October, as routine program. GAMES & SPORTS UJJIBAN-03 organized different sports program for boys and girls on Run, Volleyball, Long/High Jump etc. 13
