Beau Voix is pleased to inform that we will be contributing to the joyous Graduation 2018 occasion as Nanyang Polytechnic s official supplier of the Graduation Attire. As the graduation ceremony is a dignified event, all Graduands participating in the Graduation Ceremony will be required to be in appropriate attire (Annex A). 1. Online Ordering of Attire Online ordering for the Rental/Purchase of the NYP Graduation Attire will be available on nypgraduation.sg from 1 st 30 th April For home delivery of the graduation attire, the last day for online order is 25 April Please read through the guidelines and instructions on proper care for your gown. Damages to the graduation gown will result in partial refund or forfeit of your deposit. You may view the charges for damages on the Beau Voix website above. Login with your Student Admin Number and type in your D.O.B. for the password. Fill out your details and select the size for your attire according to the Size Chart below or as you have decided during the Try-on for Size exercise in NYP in January Upon completion of the online ordering of the graduation attire, you will receive an confirming your order/purchase. Rental/Purchase Charges & Payment NYP Graduation Attire After you have confirmed your order and made payment online, you will be able to collect your graduation attire from the Gown Collection Centre (GCC) in NYP from 20 th April until Graduation You may also choose to confirm your order online and make cash/nets payment at the GCC when you collect your attire. Please note that the GCC is closed on Sundays. Online payment methods include: Internet Bank Transfer Credit Card Gown Price Deposit Total Rental $20 $12 $32 Purchase $35 - $35 3. On-Campus Collection of Graduation Attire The Gown Collection Centre (GCC) is located at the TFA (Theatre for the Arts) Function Room at Blk A, (Room A.248, Level 2) Campus Central (near Koufu Foodcourt). The GCC starts operation on 20 April 2018, Friday. The GCC will remain open throughout Graduation 2018 to facilitate return of the attire after each Graduation Session. Please refer to the table below for the operation hours. 3 4. Authorisation Form If you are unable to collect and/or return your graduation attire, you may appoint a proxy to collect/return on your behalf. Please complete the Authorisation Form (Collection/Return) found at Beau Voix website nypgraduation.sg. The proxy must present the following upon collection/return of the gown. 4 CRN: M Annex A GRADUATION ATTIRE / DRESS CODE FOR GRADUANDS ATTENDING THE GRADUATION CEREMONY All graduands participating in the Graduation Ceremony will be required to wear the NYP Graduation Attire. 2 The NYP Graduation Attire consists of a one-piece robe with a detachable collar flap, as shown below. More details on the sale, rental and collection of the NYP Graduation Attire can be found at the website nypgraduation.sg Wearing NYP Graduation Attire
5 CRN: M 3 The following are the recommended outfits and hair appearance to go with the Graduation Attire: Female Graduands Male Graduands Dress/Blouse, preferably long sleeve, with high collar. Skirt length should be around knees or longer. Dress pants are permitted. Court shoes or pumps. Hair Neat hairdo / natural tone. Long-sleeve shirt with tie and dark coloured pants. Dark coloured shoes with socks. Hair Short neat hairdo / natural tone. Hair should not be below shirt collar. Tying of hair is not acceptable. (Full-Time National Servicemen (NSF) are expected to change into the recommended outfit, as indicated above) Recommended Outfits to Go With Graduation Attire:
6 4 The following are examples of unacceptable dressing: General - Casual pants/jeans, T-shirts, Polo shirts, Shorts, Culottes, Bermudas, Sports shoes, slippers, open toe sandals. Female - Mini-skirts/Skirts with exceptionally high slits. Any dress considered provocative or revealing e.g. low cut, bare midriff, transparent top, blouse unbuttoned.
