1 Provisional Promotion List Subject: Promotion to the post of Nursing Sister There are around 2500 employeesanctioned in the Nursing Cadre in various designations; out of which 1935 posts have en sanctioned for StaffNurses and 294 posts have en sanctioned for Nursing Sisters. As per rule 9 of Haryana Health departmurt Nursing Personnel and Lady House Keepers, Group C, Service Rules, 1998, the"posts of Nursing Sister can filled up 100% by promotion (refer flag X). And as per Appendix B of rule 7 only following staff Nurses can promoted to the post of Nursing Sister who possess the qualifications as under (refer flag Y): (i) (ii) (iii) (iv) B.Sc. (Hons) Nursing or B.Sc. (post Basic) Nursing; OR Diploma in General Nursing with Midwifery Training from a recognized nstituteajniversity; 5 years experience as StaffNurse; A division Nurse (with Midwifery training) registered with Haryana Nurses Registration Council; Hindi upto Matric standard, Out of 294 sanctioned post of Nursing Sister, there are 244 post filled and 50 are vacant against which the present proposal for the promotion has en moved The last'promotion was done on l3-5-08, list placed low at flag-z; (the list of promotion from 2003 to 2008 are also placed low for reference).
