17 West Midlands Haematology Programme Exams in haematology The FRCPath exam only examines haematology aspects and involves 2 parts: Part 1: consists of an essay paper and an MCQ paper. This can be taken after 18 months of speciality training Part 2: consists of a clotting paper, a transfusion paper, blood film and bone marrow interpretation and a viva.
