At least two (2) should be from Consultants. Registrars possible for one (1) only. 2. Complete the below details in full, prior to forwarding to your Referee, to ensure that this assessment is successfully matched to your application/s at the Hospitals. 3. As your Referee is to send the completed Form directly to the Hospital/s nominated by you overleaf, tick on the back page, the Health Services to whom you are applying and to whom the assessment is to reach. Hospital Medical Officer (HMO) will be paid according to experience. Hours of work will be a thirty eight (38) hours per week plus oncall where applicable. The appointee is to act as Medical Practitioner for the patients of the hospital within the policies and guidelines pertaining to Registrars/ RMOs. In particular the registrar/rmo is required to:- o Exercise due professional care in the management of patients who may be allotted to him/her, within the limits of their own competence and experience. o Have due regard for the reputation and Risk assessments completed and controls implemented. Incident/s reported as soon as practicable. Undertake incident investigations. Injured employees are managed within Guidelines. Orientation records. Training records. Accreditation outcomes. Specific duties: Patient Care Inpatients Responsibility for admission and care of newborn infants. To undertake such patient care as may be delegated by a Neonatologist of the Mercy Hospital for Women. This care may be extended to private patients. Care of infants on postnatal wards of Mercy Hospital for Women Accompanying Neonatologists on the principal rounds. Advise Neonatologist regarding any emergency admission and any significant clinical problems arising during the registrar s hours of duty. Perform a daily round of his/her patients when rostered for duty. Consult with the Associate Unit Manager (nursing) of the ward regarding treatment of patients.
