MedAssist Emergency prescription assistance program for uninsured Summit County residents: Summit County Public Health Pharmaceutical Assistance: Discount Cards for Drug Purchase ExecutiveMED Prescription Discount Card is available to all citizens of Summit County. If you do not have insurance, this card will save you money on all your prescription needs. If you already have a prescription card through your medical insurance plan, you can still use this card for prescriptions not covered by your current carrier, saving you even more. For more information on this program, call Caremark toll free at To receive an ExecutiveMED Prescription Discount Card, contact the County of Summit Executive Office at (EXEC). Ohio s Best Rx is a prescription drug discount card program designed to lower the cost of prescriptions for Ohio residents without prescription drug insurance coverage who are: 60 years of age and over OR under age 60 with annual family incomes of less than 300% of the Federal Poverty Level. Individuals and families who believe they are eligible for Ohio s Best Rx can complete a simple, one-page application. Applications are available by calling the participant helpline at or by downloading an application at: *Some chain drug stores, such as WalMart, Target, and Discount Drug, offer discount drug programs that provide a 30-day supply of certain generic prescriptions at low cost.
