3 The conferences hosted by the Nursing Education Association (NEA) and Forum for University Nursing Deans in South Africa (FUNDISA) are events that the nurse leaders and educators in South Africa do not want to miss! The 2015 conference once again promises to be one of the largest South African conferences dedicated to nurses who are leaders in the industry ready to lead change in the profession! In a spirit of co-operation amongst professionals and through networking and sharing of information, best practices, capacity building and integrating nursing education and practice, we believe that change is achievable. The theme of the 2015 conference is Expanding Avenues in Nursing: Collaboration,. The conference takes place 2 4 September 2015 at the Olive Convention Centre in Durban. The programme being developed, will attract nurse leadership and nursing professionals from the private and public healthcare sectors. We would like to invite you to associate your company with the nursing profession in South Africa by sponsoring an aspect of the conference or taking an exhibition stand. Many of you have been a valued partner in our activities in the past, and we hope that this partnering relationship will continue into the future as we work together to discover new avenues to reshape nursing and redefine its professional DNA. 2

4 NEA has an individual membership of more than 1200 nurse educators from all nursing education sectors. FUNDISA has the 22 universities offering nursing programmes as institutional members. To assist in your decision to participate, a summary of the partnership opportunities are included, but we are open to your proposals as well. Prepare nurse educators, managers and clinical practitioners through innovation, debate, competence building and sharing of best practices and information. Promote networking and collaboration of nurse leaders, professional nurses, nurse educators and nursing service managers across institutional, sectoral and national boundaries. Share innovative approaches, research and strategies to manage challenges in leadership, practice and education. Recognise best practices and the achievements of individuals and institutions that are part of the nursing landscape in South Africa. Alert researchers and professional nurses to research questions from practice. 4

12 Exhibition partner proposal: Bronze partner: R VAT before 28 May 2015 R VAT after 28 May 2015 Exhibitors will enjoy access to delegates during all tea / coffee interludes and lunches, thereby maximising exposure of their products and services. A 3m x 3m x 3.8m (height) display area which includes 1 skirted table, 2 chairs and electricity connection own extension cords should be provided. Exhibitors will be provided with a shell structure and signage. Parking and lunch for 2 representatives daily for the duration of the conference. (The costs for additional representatives and costs for cocktail and gala dinner attendance are available on request).
