Background: We are a newly formed ISPOR Student Chapter in Malaysia approved as of February The secretariat office is hosted by the Discipline of Social and Administrative Pharmacy (DSAP), School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), Penang, Malaysia. DSAP prepares individual for responsible leadership position in pharmacy education, research and/ or management in academics, industry or public service. II. Mission Statement: 1. Nurturing growing interests in the area of pharmacoeconomics and health outcomes research. 2. Bridging the gap and bringing together students interested in health economics and members of the pharmaceutical industry, health-related organizations, and academia. 3. To provide an opportunity for student chapter members to become familiar with the affairs of ISPOR as well as have representation in its affairs. III.
