1 Trinity Health Ministries, Inc. D E N TA L C L I N I C Our Mission is to follow Christ s command to provide physical, emotional, and spiritual care to members of our community who are unable to access these services through traditional channels.

2 We chose the name Trinity because we believe in the essential emphasis on Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Also, it has another three-fold meaning to us - Christian faith, health care and community service. Trinity Health Ministries is a Christian, non-profit, nondenominational organization dedicated to meeting the health needs of the under-served of Blount County. We are simply following Christ s directive: For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me... Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?... I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me. 3 Our History Trinity Dental Clinic began as a vision of Christian nurses in Blount County who saw a need for non-traditional healthcare. Multiple health care surveys corroborated this need and the greatest need proved to be dentistry. Follow-up meetings were held with other Christian community leaders and health care providers. 5 General Information About Our Services Trinity Dental Clinic focuses on basic dental care for low income/uninsured/under served adults. Our emphasis is on emergency and urgent treatment needs. Clinic hours are by appointment. Translators are available at scheduled times. We do our best to see patients as soon as possible. At this time, our treatment options include pulling teeth and cleaning teeth as time and resources allow. Please note that Trinity Dental Clinic is not intended to take the place of routine dental care. Instead, Trinity Dental Clinic is meant to be a temporary measure to help the under served until they can obtain care in the traditional dental community. Eligibility Criteria Blount County resident Age 21 or over Picture ID Proof of residence, i.e. something current with name, and address such as a utility bill, bank statements or voter registration One of the following documents: BCCAA ID Card Good Neighbors ID Card Food Stamp Card/Letter Cherokee Good Samaritan Clinic Patient Public Housing Voucher Supplemental Security Income (SSI) Letter Appointments will be made as space is available for patients who qualify.
