2 KEY TASKS Operational Management EXPECTED OUTCOMES Robust operational management and service delivery driving performance in the following two teams Clinical Support Manager Laboratories Chief Pharmacist Pharmacy Clinical Director Surgical Pathology Clinical Director Radiology Manager Radiology Manager Asian Support Clinical Biomedical Engineering Manager Non-Direct Clinical Support Manager non-clinical services Orderlies /Cleaners Contract Services Laundry, Medirest (Kitchen & café), Xerox Decanting and migration coordinator FF& E coordinator Traffic & Fleet Management Security Services o Optimise a customer-focussed service to provider services. o Deliver agreed services and implement service level agreements. o Monitors and reports delivery of same. o Negotiates and resolves service delivery issues. o Develop and maintain effective relationships with services and individuals with the organisation Industry standards/accreditation International Accreditation NZ (IANZ Environmental Science and Research Limited (National Radiation Protection Act) Strategic and Annual Plan Develop and implement a Clinical Support Services strategic plan and business plan. Ensure current and future resource needs are identified, prioritised and planned for by developing and regularly monitoring a Clinical Support Services strategic and business plan, which supports and enhances the overall mission and is aligned with the strategic plan of the organisation. Contribute to the development and delivery of the strategic plans of internal customers within Waitemata DHB. Financial Contributes to the effective financial operation of the Clinical Support Services group by managing physical, financial and contractual resources within budgeted limits and in accordance with WDHB policy and procedures. Ensures achievement of objectives by regularly monitoring progress and taking corrective action where necessary. Operates in ways that reflect the intent of the Treaty of Waitangi and achieves related objectives determined by the WDHB. Provide leadership to a team of motivated and well trained staff by agreeing accountabilities and standards of performance, providing coaching, development opportunities, ensuring appropriate recognition, reward and taking corrective action where necessary. Develop and implement succession plans.
